Chapter 24

The next day, Y/N and Yena go to work separately. Y/N by his car and Yena by bus. Y/N arrives first than Yena and sits down.

His appearance and aura felt cold and scary that it was felt by them. Jooheon nudged Hyungwon and asked him something.

"Hey, do you feel what I'm feeling?"

"Let's just stay quiet." Hyungwon continued doing his work.

"I wonder what made him so upset this early morning..."

Just then, Yena entered and greeted everyone.

"Good morning everyone!" She waves at them and they smiled back for a short second and she sits down on her seat.

She takes a look at him and sees his cold, expressionless face. She felt very guilty about yesterday.

She just continues her work in guilt and Seonghyeon noticed the expression from her noona's face.

After some time, Yena goes towards him to with a document in hand.

"Sir, I would like to inform you that you'll be visiting SM Entertainment's CEO about the sponsorship of our company with theirs. It will be at 11." Y/N didn't reply anything and looks at his laptop.

"Sir?" Y/N is currently giving her a silent treatment. He then points at her laptop.

"Yes sir? What's with my laptop?" Y/N then gestures a go-away sign. She was confused but bowed and went back to her seat.

She looks at her laptop and saw an email from her boss. She clicked it and saw a reply from her words just now. It was just a very simple "K" by him.

Yena was flustered but types back to reply to him. She sends the email and then he replies quickly with a simple "K" yet again.

The clock strikes 10:30 am and it's time for Y/N to visit SM Entertainment. Yena was about to stand up but then realizes that she'd be ghosted by Y/N.

She emails him to inform him that it's time for his meeting. He starts to move and she also prepares her things. She was about to go with him when suddenly...

"Choi Seonghyeon. You're gonna be with me today. Let's go. Don't waste time." Y/N leaves the office and made everyone confused.

It was supposed to be Yena's duty as his helper and secretary for today. Seonghyeon's duty was supposed to be tomorrow but he was replaced for today.

Seonghyeon prepares his things and then walks to Yena. He could feel that something is wrong.

"Let's talk at lunchtime." Seonghyeon leaves with a big sigh and Yena sits back down. She also lets out a sigh and continues working.

The treatment from Y/N just made her guilty feeling increase and she tries to think of a way that she could apologize to him.

She thinks that she's culpability about the scene that had happened at the dinner table yesterday.

On the ride to visit SM Entertainment, Y/N suddenly remembered about yesterday's incident.

He truly felt very angry at her and he hated her so much. He released his frustrations at her and he just hope she realized what she had done to him.

At the same time, Y/N felt so guilty towards Minju's parents. It was truly an accidental kiss between him and Yena.

Flashback

After Y/N scolded Yena, he goes back to his seat.

"I apologize for tonight's misdirection of atmosphere. Goodnight Mr. and Mrs. Kim. Goodnight Minju-ya. I love you." Y/N goes to give a peck to Minju and bowed at everyone before leaving to his room.
