A month had passed by, and now was the white moment every committed couple had been waiting for.
The birds chipper, the wind gently blows hair and neckties. By each pace the bride and groom take, attentions sink a little deeper as they watch him crossing the aisle.
Each one of the CIPher Company employees sat on the pews placed by the side of the hallway. Undoubtedly excited to witness the sacred ceremony commence.
In black, his bold fashion is accentuated, a flavor the girls at their seats could taste at the tip of their tongue. His steps are slow but known as restless until he reaches the altar.
At the end of the passage, a man in a black cassock waits for him with his thick manual for the formal ceremony in hand. He stands upright with a smile that welcomes the anxious groom.
Seonghyeon stands by the priest's right-hand side, gulping a couple of spit while expecting his bride to come soon.
'I wonder how you look today...' Just like the rest of the audience, he is one to be curious about his bride's appearance.
Not long after, the bride, in white, walked out of the tall double doors with an arm locked with a man no other hand her father. She smiles buoyantly as she gazes at the groom. Heart flutters, lips couldn't lie, and there is no way for her to hide how delighted she is.
For the man beside her, he could only watch his daughter growing overly excited for a man he couldn't consider fit. But a daughter's happiness is worth more than a father's soul.
The audiences are struck by the naive beauty. The white dress completes her where she is flawed, not that anyone will notice if she has one. All of the compliments are thrown at her through soft cries, but her eyes and ears are fixated on the politely dressed groom.
Minju stepped onto the altar, but her father won't let go of her arm just yet. The pair is confused, but they do know why more than anyone around them.
"I need to go, dad." Minju said.
"I'll be fine."
With a heavy heart, he sighed a long one before letting go of her. He took a good look at the two and nod a kind affirmation for the ceremony to proceed.
The priest noticed the signal, he lift his book and wore his glasses. The priest talked for a bit before saying the vows for the couple.
"Both the bride and the groom may say their vows to each other.
"I, Choi Seonghyeon, take you, Kim Minju, for my lawful wife, to have and to hold from this day forward, for better, for worse, for richer, for poorer, in sickness and health, until death does us part." Seonghyeon said his vow.
"I, Kim Minju, take you, Choi Seonghyeon, to be my husband. I promise to be true to you in good times and in bad, in sickness and in health. I will love and honor you all the days of my life." Minju vowed.
"Then the groom may kiss the bride." The priest commenced.
Without hesitation, Seonghyeon pulled Minju in for a kiss and they kissed passionately as the crowd cheered at them.
Words of congratulations filled the air as well as cheerful chants from the audience. Flower petals, confetti, and hands are thrown around them, filling the atmosphere with excitement now that the vow has been taken.
