Hello (IZ*ONE Yena x M!Reader)

Chapter 2

Music echoes through the club as some people are dancing and feeling the vibe but most are enjoying their drinks at their respective tables.

Y/N walks into the noisy place and heads to the backside of the club. He maneuvers himself through the crowd of people before finally reaching the door that has the 'Employee Only' sign written in big bold letters.

He opens the door and goes to the usual room that the band uses to prepare themselves before going up on stage. 

"H-Hi guys..." He greets them with a soft voice.

"Y/N! Thank you again for setting us up for this gig." Sungjin shook his hand.

"It's not a big deal Sungjin hyung..." He rubs his nape, feeling proud of himself.

"It is a big deal for us. Give yourself some credit." Younghyun pats him on the shoulder.

"KMESS. You guys will be on in ten minutes." An employee told them.

"Okay." Jae answered him. He stood up from the couch and walk to where the three people are.

"Alright KMESS let's bring it in." Jae puts his hand in the middle.

"You seriously doing a huddle?" Younghyun asked in disbelief.

"Damn right I am. Come on!" The rest of the members came in together and put their hands in.

Y/N starts to back away from the guys. It's their huddle, not his. They're the rockstars, he's just a nobody.

"Yo, what're you doing? Bring it in." Jae invited him to join them.

He was hesitant, but the smiles from the other guys make him feel like they also wants him to join in. Being a loner in middle school and high school certainly affects his personality. 

But right now, these guys are welcoming him to their circle and he doesn't want to disappoint them. He walks to them and puts his hands on top of the others.

The guys chuckled when finally all of them are together.

"Alright, KMESS on three! One, two, three... KMESS!!" They throw their hands in the air followed up with a loud cheer. 

There's not a lot of great highlights in his life, but at this moment, Y/N feels like this is one of its best parts. 

"Hang out in the club. Watch us perform." Jae told him before they got on the stage.

"Sure hyung..." Jae smiled at him and walked onto the stage. They got into their places and start with their first song. 

Y/N sat at the bar, ordering cola only since he can't handle alcohol well. The bartender hands him the glass of cold iced cola and he takes a sip while enjoying the great performance from the DJ in charge.

He then sees Yena from afar and his heart is crumbling inside looking at her with her boyfriend. He tried to focus on his friends that are now setting up their props on stage.

Meanwhile...

"Hey, babe~ Wanna have some fun?~"

"Sure~ Dance with me~" Yena and her boyfriend go to the dance floor and have their fun.

After their little dance, Yena and her boyfriend goes to the bartender and ordered some drinks.

"Vodka?"

"Mm~ No no~ Gimme some gin and juice~"

"Sure babe." Her boyfriend ordered the beverages and she turns her attention to a band that will be performing on the stage.
