Chapter 28

"Boss!" Jooheon barged in with excitement plastered all over his face.

"SM Entertainment has signed a deal with our company and will take the 50/50 profit offer. Not just that, but the CEO said that if everything goes well, he might extend our sponsorship contract for 3 years and will consider giving more profit to our company!"

Everyone in the office room cheered and clapped. The news brings delight to everyone, especially Y/N.

"Okay, everyone. With that news, we'll be having a team dinner tonight to celebrate! Dinner's on me." Everyone cheered even louder.

"Alright, guys! Let's finish today's work with joy and have a wonderful dinner tonight!"

"Yes sir!" Everyone energetically answered.

Yena looks at Y/N and he noticed her. She gives a warm smile and a thumbs up to him. He replied with a smile of his own.

She continues back to work but after their brief interaction with each other, Y/N felt weird inside his heart. But he shrugged the feeling off and back to doing his work.

Everyone is currently at a restaurant at a huge table while holding their glasses. Y/N stands up and gives a speech as the one who made the convincing deal with the other side.

"So for our success on our sponsorship, we're here gathered together for a special team dinner. To be honest, I didn't work on this project alone. It's a success with the help of all of you kind and hardworking people. Without blabbering much more, let's raise our glass and make a toast."

They all start to gather the glass they're holding to the middle.

"Cheers!" Y/N clinks his glass first.

"Cheers!" The others clink theirs and then drink the beer.

They all start to eat their dinner joyfully. They also chat with each other a lot and laugh together. It feels like their bond becomes stronger with each other during team dinner.

Yena never consumed any alcohol since 5 years ago so she wasn't feeling confident about her alcohol tolerance. But she decides to just try above her limit because it's a special day.

However, as dinner time goes on, they all drink more beer and become drunker. Especially Yena. She was still alright after 5 bottles however, the booze hits her on the 6th bottle.

As she continues to consume more alcohol, she becomes a drunker. Everyone at the dinner table except Y/N is drunk. Y/N just shakes his head while eating the last piece of meat.

Timeskip

Everyone was sent home by taxi and Y/N brings Yena with him to his car. He puts a seatbelt on her and then drives off.

"Scream with me everyone!~ Wooooo!!~"

While on the road, the drunk Yena starts causing a ruckus by being loud. She starts screaming with the music that's playing in the car.

"Hey, driver-nim! Sing with me!" Yena gives an invisible microphone to Y/N.

"Jumping, yeah, jumping, yeah!~ Everybody!~ Jumping, yeah, jumping, everyone let's jump, jump!" Yena starts singing her heart out beside him and Y/N's right ear is about to turn deaf.

Y/N starts to get annoyed by her loudness and the chaos she's making inside the car makes him a bit disturbed. Nonetheless, he managed to stay focused on the road and arrived home.

Y/N gets out of the car and then opens the passenger's seat to take her out. He gives her a piggyback and enters the house.

"Ah, home smell!~ It's home!" Yena said.
