Chapter 17

Y/N is on his way back home after sending Minju to her house. Y/N remembered back about what happened today.

He can't believe that Yena is back. And she even worked in the same place and same room as him.

Y/N massages his forehead to ease his headache about today. He continues driving back home.

Once he parked inside the garage, he exits the car and enters the house. He greets the maid and goes to the kitchen to take a glass of water.

"Maid, where did father and mother go?"

"Ah, they went out for dinner."

"I see." Y/N goes upstairs to his room.

Just then, Yena goes out of her room and gets down to take some water. She also greets the maid.

"I heard someone here just now. Who is it?"

"It's Mr. Goo."

"Ah... Mr. Goo is here."

'What would you feel if you saw me here?' Yena thought and had a worried face on.

She heard a shower turned on upstairs and thinks that he must be showering. She continues talking with the maid and learned a few things about the family in this house.

She was fascinated by the generous hearts of Mr. Cha and Mrs. Shin. And she was also amazed to hear Y/N's achievement in the company.

Somehow, she felt proud of Y/N for achieving those achievements. She realizes that she's the ground and he's the sky now.

She becomes more closer to the maid after a few more talks. The maid seems comfortable around her as well. She then excuses herself to go to her room and the maid goes to hers as well.

Meanwhile, Y/N is working inside his room. He eats a bagel while he's working. There's completely a lot to do.

Being a CEO doesn't mean there's lesser work to do. Being a CEO means there's more responsibility to take and more work to handle.

After working for about an hour, he stands up and goes to his balcony to take fresh air. He looks up to the night sky and is amazed by the view.

The stars shine bright in the dark sky. Not just that, the moon also shines along with the stars to light up the dark atmosphere.

Y/N reminisced the moments when he was happy. He remembered the moments when he was with his hyungs. He remembered the moments when he was with his family.

He then remembered the moments when he was with Yena. Those moments when he was a fool for her. Those moments when all he thinks about was her and all he loves is her.

Seeing her smile back then was a different feeling for him. Not until her expressionless and annoyed face appeared through his mind. She was both his cure and sickness.

He truly had loved her so much. But all he got in return was a hopeless love. It seems like it's just a one-sided relationship. He looks at the moon and smiles at it.

"It would've been better if I wasn't such a fool for her, right?" He talks to the moon.
