As Ash opened her eyes, she was blinded by a bright light shining through her blurred vision. Her heart dropped and her blood ran cold. She was blind again. Someone must have took off her glasses.

Not someone...Dr Mamet...

She went to sit up but was held down by some kind of binds. She couldn't tell what they were or where she was because she could not see. She couldn't see... Something she will always have to live with.

But right now, she had to figure out what the hell was going on. "Dr Mamet?" She asked but as she spoke, she felt a cage thing around her mouth and a leather strap around her head holding it in place. She was muzzled.

She began to freak out as she tried everything she could to get out of the binds she was in but whatever she tried, she was still paralyzed waist down and tied to whatever she was laying on.

"What the hell are you doing to me!?" She screamed as she began to lose her cool at the dead silence of the room. She couldn't even hear the flickering of lights like she did in the hall way. Everything seemed dulled. She wanted to cry, to scream and cry and beg for help. But there was no way in hell was she going to show any kind of weakness to whoever did this to her.

"Shhh....shhh, it's okay. You're alright. My my, I didn't expect it to look like this." The voice of Dr Mamet spoke out in the room as she felt his hand touch her shoulder.

She froze in fear as his hand touched her bare skin. Where was her jacket? She had it on to cover the- oh shit...

Now she understood. She understood what was happening to her and why. The Governor had seen her bite mark that night. The night he-...

And now Dr Mamet was going to experiment on her. How could she be so stupid? How could she forget that he saw her that night? All of her? Of course this was going to happen. How could she forget?

She should have made a run for it yesterday. Forget about making plans to escape and just do it. Who cares how far she would have gotten before a walker or The Governor got her? At least she'd have had a chance.

But she forgot that he saw her. No, she didn't forget. She wanted to forget. But she pushed out the idea of what he might have saw.

And now...now she was strapped to a table, about to be cut open like some lab rat. How could she do this to herself? Forcing herself to forget put her in this position. She knew that. And so did The Governor.

"Do you know why it healed over instead of infecting her, doc?" The voice of the Governor bounced off the walls and it only made everything worse.

He was here. He did this. He deserves to rot in Hell.

And there it was. The anger she needed to mask her fear. She clenched her fists as tight as she could and fought against the restraints. "Let me go!" She screamed angrily as she barred her teeth in the men's direction. They tie her down and muzzle her like an animal, that's exactly what she'll become.

Dr Mamet hums as there's a tapping noise, like he's tapping a pen to a table. "No, I do not. But perhaps this bite is causing this animalistic behavior." He observed.

"Perhaps." The Governor chuckled as a shadow was suddenly peering down at her, blocking out the blinding light. "Or perhaps it's just how she is. You never know these days, Doctor." He said.

"Let me go!" Ash growled at him, continuing to fight the restraints.

The Governor clicked his tongue. "You see, Ashley, I can't do that. After finding out about your biter bite, I had to let Dr Mamet get another look at you. And he seemed to think that you were very special. So he led you down here, letting you believe he was going to help you walk again. And bam! You actually came! And now, we're going to find out what makes you tick. I mean, no one survives a bite from the dead." The Governor said and Ash glared up at him even though she couldn't see. He chuckled and backed away, letting the blinding light assault her eyes once more.
