[3rd POV]
Ash panicked as she wondered where Rick was. Everyone was screaming and gunshots were being fired all around her. "Andrea! Andrea, where are you?!" She screamed as she tried to locate her to no luck.
Suddenly, she was jerked forward. She screamed in shock as she felt the cool night breeze hit her face. Someone picked her up as someone else grabbed her wheelchair. "Hey! What's goin' on?!" She hollered as she was shoved in a car.
"We have to leave!" She hears Glenn say quickly.
Glenn and Maggie hurry into the car after shoving Ash and her chair in. Maggie sits in the driver seat as Glenn gets in the passengers. They drive off and the car zigzags all over the farm as gunshots ring out from his gun. "What is goin' on?" She exclaims again as she falls to the floor.
"Not now!"
"Maggie, keep it steady!"
"I'm tryin'!"
"Where's Rick!?"
"Not now!"
"Where's Carl?!"
"ASH!"
"Where are we goin'?!"
*CLUNK*
"Ow..." Ash groans after she hits her head on the back of the seat as Maggie turned sharply.
"Where the hell are they going?"
"Should I follow them?"
"I'd say yes."
"Me too..."
"Swing it around. Swing it around here. Whoa whoa whoa."
"Oh my god. I can't get through."
"Head out."
"What?"
"Get off the farm now."
"Don't say that."
"Maggie, it's lost!"
"The others...we can't leave them."
Maggie screams as twenty or so walkers pound on the glass. She rears back to get away from them. "Get off the farm now!"
Maggie speeds off and Ash rolls under the seats from the momentum.
They drive for a while in silence.
Ash lays under the seat in dead silence. 'What if Rick is dead? What if they are all dead? Glenn and Maggie could have died bringing me to the car. They couldn't protect themselves as they carried me. I could have gotten them killed. And Rick...where is he? Nobody knows where he is. What if he's a walker? What -- what am I going to do? I-I -- I can't do this. Carl. They couldn't find Carl, either. What if...they're both gone? I can't...I told myself. I told myself to stop caring for people. All it would do is break me up when they died. I should have listened. I shouldn't have went with Rick to Atlanta. I should have just kept walking. But...if I did that...I would already be dead because of this illness. I might as well be. Everyone is dead. I don't even know if Daryl is alive. Or T-Dog. Hershel, Carl....Rick....'
"Oh my god. Oh my god." Maggie gasps as she cries while driving, bringing Ash out of her thoughts.
"All right, let's just -- let's just circle back to the highway." Glenn says. Ash silently agrees as she tries to wriggle out from under the seats to no luck.
"Did you see my dad? Did -- did he make it? Did you see?" Maggie asks Glenn.
"I couldn't see anything." Glenn answers.
"You and me both." Ash mutters to herself, still trying to comprehend what happened.
"And Beth -- I lost Beth. We've gotta go back there." Maggie says.
"We can't go back. There's nothing to go back to." Glenn says.
"But Beth-"
"I-I -- I think she was with Lori." Glenn tries to assure her.
'Well, then their both goners.' Ash thinks to herself.
"Did they make it?"
"I don't know."
"Patricia? Jimmy? What if they didn't make it? What if nobody made it?"
"They made it, okay? They had to. All right, let's just circle around to the highway where we left supplies for Sophia."
"No, the herd came from that direction."
"Just stop. Stop the car. Stop the car."
The car stops and Ash is pushed forward. 'I'm free...' She thinks to herself. "Let me drive." Glenn says as he gets out. Maggie scoots over and Glenn gets in the passengers seat.
She starts sobbing and Glenn reaches over and holds her hands. "Hey hey hey hey. Hey, Maggie, look at me. Look at me. Hey, we're alive. We made it. Okay? I'm sure they are too. Right?" She starts sobbing again.
"I love you."
Maggie stops crying and stares at him with wide eyes. "Maggie, I love you. I should've said it a long time ago and it's been true for a long time. We're gonna be all right, okay? We'll be all right."
"Okay. Yeah."
The car starts again and off they go. "Glenn, did -- did you see if Rick got out?" Ash asks quietly.
The two upfront silently gasp in shock, forgetting she was back there. "The barn caught fire. We think Rick and Shane got out."
"And Carl?"
"He...nobody could find him."
"And Daryl? T-Dog?"
"I'm sure they are at the highway."
"Yeah..."
After a while, Ash hears a loud motor. "Is that..?"
"Yep. With Carol." Glenn says with a smile. Ash smiles as a tear falls. They hear another car and look behind them to see a blue pick up. "T-Dog, Lori...and Beth." Both Maggie and Ash let out breaths of relief.
"Do you see Rick?" Ash asks.
"Not yet." He says.
Ash's heart sinks along with her eyes. The three vehicles pull up and park on the highway. "Hang on. We're gonna go see if Rick is here." Glenn says and he and Maggie get out.
Rick stands on the highway, smiling as everyone gets out of their cars and hugs their loved ones. As Lori runs up and hugs him, he looks around for Ash but doesn't see her. He looks at T-Dog and Daryl but they both shrug worriedly.
Rick becomes worried. 'They left her....she's...she's gone....no...'
"Hey, Rick. Someone has been dying to see you." Glenn says and he looks over at him to see a smiling Glenn.
Rick looks at him confused before Glenn points to his car. Rick walks to his car but doesn't see anybody and becomes even more confused. He sees a body on the floor in between the seats and quickly opens the door to see a motionless Ash with tears running down her face.
"Glenn -- Glenn, is Rick here? Do you see him? Is he alright?" She asks tearfully and Rick laughs as a tear slides down his cheek. He picks her up and hugs her tightly. "Rick?" She asks hopefully.
"Yeah, it's me." He says smiling as he holds her tightly.
She laughs breathlessly as she slowly lifts her arms and wraps them around his neck. Rick laughs as he spins her around happily.
Rick turns around and faces the group. He stops short and stares at their faces. Most of them are laughing and smiling but when he sees Lori, his smile falls.
"Uh..."
