She was lost. She was alone. She was scared. She was surrounded by the dead.
Ashley Grant was thrown into the terrifying world of the dead walking the streets. All she wanted was to go to the grocery store but she ran into...
Alex had left the room, telling her to observe everything that The Governor does and stay on alert at all times. She also told her she hid her scalpel under the mattress on the right side of the bed.
She also gave her some clothes to wear. Nothing too fancy. Just a tank top and some jean shorts. Ash also added her jacket to cover the bite mark that she luckily managed to hide from Alex.
She then left Ash alone in the apartment, waiting for his arrival that is sure to come. A noise suddenly caught her attention, not sure what it was, causing her to snap her head in that direction.
She turned her chair around and went towards the noise, bumping into a few things on the way. She ran straight into a wall and she felt confused.
She leaned forward and listened closer. A light growling came from within the wall, like it was coming from a farther distance, across another room distance. A chain rattled from inside and a scraping on the floor.
She gasped as she pulled away. There was a walker on the other side. And from the sound of it, its been in there a while. It sounded hungry, like it hadn't been fed enough.
She had to tell Alex. This is what they needed to get out. This is what The Governor has been hiding. She had to catch up to Alex.
She pushed her chair away from the wall and made her way to the apartment door. As she was about to reach out to find the door, it opened and in walked the smell of bourbon and lavender.
She gasped and lifted her head, trying to look up. But all she managed to see was a blurred silhouette of The Governor.
"Where were you trying to run off to?" He asked, and for some reason, his voice seemed more menacing than it had before. Like he knew what she was about to do. So she came up with the only thing she knew he would not suspect.
"I can't wait anymore. I want to see. Right now." She said putting on her most desperate face.
Two large hands grabbed her shoulders and she could feel his face right in front of hers. "That's wonderful to hear. Especially since I just happen to bring the glasses Dr Bridger made you." He said, the smirk evident in his voice.
Her face drained of any feeling and her hands went numb as the pit in her stomach grew. She wasn't going to see Rick when she put those glasses on. She was gonna see her enemy looming over her. She wanted to cry but she knew her being able to see was key to escaping this place.
She didn't realize a tear had slipped through her blind eyes until The Governor had wiped it away. "Its alright. Here, let me help." He said as she felt something being placed over her eyes.
Her vision blurred before clearing up and in front of her stood a tall man with brown hair and a square jaw. He had a hard face but, if you can call it this, a soft yet cold expression. He was looking down at her with a smile.

She could see! She could fucking see and all she saw was him! She wanted to see her family and Rick and the new home they must have by now. She didn't want to see this man who she could not trust and is her enemy. It didn't matter that he saved her from that hot car. He took her from her family.
And Merle...she didn't know where she stood with him. He would rather stay here in this luxury than leave with her. And it's because of the man who stood in front of her now.
She looked down at her hands which shook slightly and was covered in small scars and old bruises but then turned and looked at the apartment. Her eyes immediately are drawn to the wall where she heard those noises.
You wouldn't notice it unless you knew where it was but she could just notice the slight differences in the wall. It was a door to a secret room. A room where The Governor is hiding a walker. A walker that no one is supposed to know about and is a secret. A secret which will grant her and Alex their freedom. And when she gets her freedom, the first thing she is doing is finding her way to the prison. That's where her family went. That is where she will go.
"I know you wanted to see something special but how about we do something special instead?" The Governor speaks up, getting her attention.
Ash pushed her plans to the side and looked up at him, surprised to see a slight smirk on his face. "Like what?" She asked.
Suddenly, his lips smashed into hers, causing her to gasp in shock and try to pull away. He grabbed the back of her head with one hand and lifted her out of the chair by her leg with the other.
She tried pushing him off with her hands but she was crushed under him as he lay her down on the bed and then lay on top of her.
He continued kissing her as he rubbed his hands on every inch of her. She managed to free her mouth enough to take a gasp of air and turn her head away from him. "Get the hell off! What are you doing!?" She asked as she tried pushing him off but without the use of her lower half, she was unable to hold him off.
"Giving you something to remember. You got your sight back. We ought to celebrate." He said before going for her mouth again.
She turned her head before slamming it against his. "Get the fuck off!" She screamed as she clawed at him.
The Governor fought her for a minute before giving up and slapping her hard across the face, knocking her glasses clean off. She layed there and her blind eyes stared up at him in shock and fear. He took that time and grabbed her face tightly and hovering his face just above hers. "Stop fighting." He growled and she didn't move as fear coursed through her.
Her mind had instantaneously went to her childhood life. Her brother and father. How he reminded her of them both. How she wanted nothing more than to get away from him. She didn't care what she had to do. She was getting the hell out of here.
