She was lost. She was alone. She was scared. She was surrounded by the dead.
Ashley Grant was thrown into the terrifying world of the dead walking the streets. All she wanted was to go to the grocery store but she ran into...
I walk back to camp with Daryl right beside me. "Good night Daryl. See you in the morning." I tell him.
"'Night Ash." He says as he walks into his tent.
I start to walk back over to the RV where I slept behind it, but Rick walks right in front of me. "Ash, can we talk?" He asks.
"Uh... Sure, what's up?" I ask.
"It's about your sleeping arrangement. I was talking to the group to see who had enough room for you and Shane said he would share his tent with you." Rick told me.
"Um... Okay... Thanks. Where is he?" I ask hesitantly.
"Over there. Good night, Ash." He says as he points to where Shane is, then walks to his tent.
I walk over to Shane and he looks at me with a smile. "Hey, Ash. So, my tent is right over there. I'll be in there in a moment." He says, pointing to a tent.
"Thanks Shane. It means a lot." I say, giving him a smile.
"Of course. Don't worry about it." He says with his own smile and turns around and walks to Dale.
I walk I to Shane's tent and see a cot on the left side of the tent and some other things that he would need.
I pull out my paper and my pen. I start writing my sister another letter.
Dear Grace,
I saw you. I'm not sure if that was my sign that I asked for, but I saw you. I felt your hands tightly latched onto my arms as I stared at you. You said something that made my questions and doubt lessen. I will protect them. Every single one of them. Not just Rick and his family. Everyone in this camp. Daryl came. He came to camp today looking for Merle. I lost it. I feel so incredibly guilty about what we did to him. I talked to him today in the woods. He said he and Merle went to come get me but I wasn't there. Of course I wasn't! I ran like the coward I am. It only made me feel worse for what I did to them. I wish this disease was cured already. I can't handle all the guilt I feel. Goodnight Grace. I will talk to you tomorrow. Bye.
-Ash
I put my paper and pen in my bag and then set it down and look through it to get some clothes. I haven't changed my clothes in two weeks. I really need a shower...

(What she's wearing now)
I pull my sweat shirt over my head as I kick off my shoes. I'm still in my pants and bra when I hear someone walk in.
I turn quickly, covering myself with my shirt, and see Shane standing there with wide eyes. "Get out!" I hiss at him.
He slowly turns around and walks out the tent flap. I groan and finish changing clothes.

(What she changed into)
I put my clothes in my bag and open the tent flap. "You can come in now." I say to Shane and back up into the tent as he walks in.
He gives me a look I can't quite place. I shrug it off as I lay down on the floor and use my arm as a pillow, ready to fall asleep. "What are you doing?" Shane asks.
I reopen my eyes and look up at him. "Going to sleep. You should to." I tell him snappishly. I feel guilty about talking to him that way since I'm still new here, but he is annoying me right now, especially since he walked in on me.
"Not on the floor, you ain't. Get up. You can sleep on the cot." He says.
I shake my head. "I can't do that. This is your tent. You sleep where you usually sleep." I tell him.
He shakes his head. "How 'bout we share?" He asks.
I look into his eyes and know that either we both sleep on the cot, or he sleeps on the floor. I sigh in annoyance and sit up. "Fine." I say and get up.
I lay down on the cot and then Shane does as well. We are really close. Uncomfortably close.
I turn around and have my back facing him. I feel his warm breath on my neck and I get goosebumps, and not the good kind.
I close my eyes and try to go to sleep, but I feel so weird. His breath evens so I guess he fell asleep. I feel his arm snake around my waist and I freeze.
He pulls me closer to him, surprising me because I didn't think we could get any closer then we were. I feel his lips on my ear and my breath hitches.
This just became even more uncomfortable. And awkward!
I feel his lips pull up. My eyes are as wide as saucers. "Shane." I whisper to see if he's awake.
No response.
"Shane." I whisper again.
Again, no response.
Just great! I can't believe this! I try to wriggle out of his grasp but no luck.
I try to lift his arm off me, but he only squeezes me tighter. Suddenly, his leg lifts up and lays above both of mine. He is practically laying on me!
"Shane... Get off..." I whisper pushing against him. I hear him moan softly and my eyes widen and my eyebrows raise sky high.
"Shane! Please, get off!" I whisper yell.
Again, no response comes from his mouth.
I stop struggling and just lay there, looking at the tent. I close my eyes and try to go to sleep. After five minutes, still no luck.
I groan and think of ways to push him off without waking him. I try to push my legs up and push his off but his leg is to heavy.
I decide to just lay here until he wakes up. Hopefully its soon. I will just try to go to sleep.
