Chapter 8

Camillas POV

I decided to grab some blankets before heading out. Making sure I got everything with me and made my way up to the Astronomy tower.

The sky was clear and the stars were clear. When I came up the stairs she was already there looking out deep in thoughts sitting on the concrete floor. She was so beautiful. Words can't even describe the things I was feeling at the moment. "I brought blankets." I broke the silence once I snapped back into reality. She got up and came over. "You look gorgeous," she said while looking in my eyes. "So do you" I answered and leaned in for a kiss. She kissed me back without a thought.

After that moment both of us giggled I layed down the blankets and we both sat down. "I got you something" I gave her the flowers and chocolate. "I got something for you too" She handed me "Sunflowers?" I asked in a surprising voice wondering where she got flowers at this time of year. "Yeh, they're your favourite aren't they?" "They are" I instantly hugged her. "I also got you this" she handed me a book "All about space" this is the book I wanted to buy" "Yup and there is something in there as well but you check that when you're alone"

"I have to ask you something," I said starting to fidget with my fingers. "I have to ask you something too but you go first." "Ok, here goes nothing, I just wanted to ask if you would like to be my date to the ball?" I asked her and all of a sudden I felt her soft lips on mine."Is that a yes?" "Of course silly! I was going to ask you the same thing." "Oh thank merlin I thought you would say no" "And why exactly I would do that?" "I don't know" " Come here." She pulled me closer and we cuddled for quite some time.

Pansys POV

I arrived early and sat down on the cold floor "I should have brought some blankets" I said quietly. It was quite dark already and the stars could be seen. I zoned out for what felt like a second when I heard her voice. Sweet, calming,  soft. My lips curled up into a small smile and I turned around.

She gave me my favourite flowers dark red peonies. "she remembered" I thought to myself.  I gave her my gifts, she was so happy. I told her to open the letter when she's back at her dorm.

After we exchanged our gifts we chatted for a bit. "Ok, I'm going to ask her" I was giving myself a pep in my head when she told me she wanted to ask me something. "I have to ask you something," She said fidgeting with her fingers slightly "I have to ask you something too but you go first." "Ok, here goes nothing, I just wanted to ask if you would like to be my date to the ball?" She asked me and my first instinct was to kiss her "Is that a yes?" "Of course silly! I was going to ask you the same thing." "Oh thank merlin I thought you would say no" "And why exactly I would do that?" "I don't know" " Come here." I pulled her closer to me and we cuddled for quite some time. After that, I walked her to her common room kissed her check goodbye and went back to my dorm.
