Skylah sat on the green hill. While waiting for Drake, she started to do some gymnastics. As time passed, Skylah began to worry that Drake wouldn't show.
Skylah sat down, crossing her legs to stop herself from kicking her legs about everywhere. She laid her body down on the soft green grass.
Skylah felt the presence of someone nearby. She quickly threw her head up, seeing a shadow.
"Drake!" Skylah called out.
"Sorry I took so long, I went to go see Slayzes, believe it or not," Drake muttered.
"Really?" Skylah asked, her head running full of memories about Slayzes. Skylah put her hand on her head, the voice of Slayzes saying "I love you" dashing around her head.
"Yeah, he wasn't too happy, but I felt bad for what I did," Drake sat next to Skylah. He held her hand and smiled.
"I see. I have something that I want to tell you, it's about Slayzes," Skylah took a deep breath, nervous of her next few words. "Slayzes kissed me. But I swear, it was out of the blue!"
"Hmm?" Drake hummed, letting go of Skylah's hand.
He looked into her eyes, trying to see if Skylah was lying. He could tell she was telling the truth. Drake put his arm around Skylah, giving her a kiss on the cheek.
"I believe you," Drake said, hugging Skylah.
"Thanks, it hasn't been easy these past few days. But one thing I know for sure is that, I want to be with you," Skylah confessed, kissing Drake on the lips. "Who cares what people think about us? You make me happy, and that's enough for me," Skylah and Drake hugged once again, looking at the sun that was about to go down.
"Remember how we got together?" Drake asked, smiling at Skylah.
"Yeah, it was only a few days ago, DUH!" She giggled, poking her tongue out. "We were crossing roads, and I told you that I had started having feelings for you."
"Then you told me that you still had feelings for Slayzes, but you said you wanted to go on a date with me, to see who you liked more," Drake finished for her.
"So we went and had dinner together by the lake near the academy. Then we went for a stroll around the lake. After that we stargazed and, our faces came near each other and we–"
"Kissed. Just like now," Drake finished for her. He gave Skylah a kiss again, but this one was much longer, and softer than usual.
Skylah forced her lips off Drake, making him looked confused. He wondered why Skylah would stop. She would usually just let it go.
"You're a GREAT kisser and all but ... we can't sleep with each other here! We're out in the open. Plus, after my breakup with Slayzes, let's just take some time off that thing? OK?"
"I understand, and you have a point," Drake let out a small sigh from his lips. He rubbed the bridge of his nose. "OK, but will you let me walk you back to your dorm?"
"Thanks, Drake. And yes, I would love it if you walked me back to my dorm," Skylah said. She gave him a gentle smile.
Drake stood up, holding his hand out for Skylah to take. Skylah place her hand in Drake's hand, letting Drake help her stand up. The two started walking towards the dorms, both holding hands the whole time.
