Five months had passed since the first day of the academy. The same thing pretty much happened everyday. Class, same subjects, same professors, same everything.

Slayzes walked pass the hall, he stopped when he saw a noticeboard. Slayzes read the notes hanging on it. A particular note caught his eye, it seemed to interest him a bit more.

Slayzes wrote his name down on the sheet of paper. A person placed their hand on his shoulder, Slayzes turned around. Drake gave Slayzes a gentle smile, making Slayzes extremely confused. Slayzes shook his shoulder, making Drake's hand fall off Slayzes's shoulder.

"We are not friends," Slayzes hissed, giving Drake a glare. "You took Skylah away from me, you have put me in the hospital twice, and you put Aalto in hospital!"

"I know," Drake replied, taking a deep breath in and out. "But I want to change, for Skylah. You know what I've been through."

"Please, you just want to injure me more! Well I look forward to seeing you in the competition! Don't lose, or else!" Slayzes walked off, leaving Drake alone in front of the noticeboard.

When Slayzes walked into the lunch area, he noticed Bailey and Emily had already beaten him to the spot. They were sitting on different sides of the picnic table. The two both waved at Slayzes once they noticed his arrival.

Slayzes sat down next to Bailey, so he was sitting across from Emily. He ate his food slowly, nibbling on the meal like it was his last. The thought of what Drake had said earlier crossed Slayzes's mind.

"What happened this time?" Emily asked, putting down her lunch on the table.

Slayzes was taken by surprise. Only having sat down, Emily already knew something was up. "Why are you so ... smart!" Slayzes asked, throwing his hands up in the air.

"My father is a psychic," Emily blankly answered, grabbing her lunch and eating it again. "Besides, you always have that face when you are confused."

"She has a point," Bailey agreed, nodding his head.

"I'm just thinking about the competition, I saw your names on the list. What if we come across–"

Emily slapped Slayzes across the face. "You think you can lie to a psychic?" Emily gave Slayzes a glare, it disappeared when she started laughing.

Slayzes raised his palm up to his cheek, rubbing his cheek that was just slapped. The cheek turned a light shade of pink, looking like lipstick was rubbed all over his face. Bailey quietly chuckled. pretending to cough to make sure he wasn't heard.

A sigh escaped Slayzes's lips. Knowing he couldn't lie to a psychic, he decided to come forward. "I saw Drake earlier, he said he wants to be friends. Five months in and he thinks I believe him. He probably just wants to beat me up for a third time."

Lucy and Aalto walked over to the table Slayzes and his friends were at. They were both holding hands, making Slayzes and Bailey give each other a questioning look. Emily facepalmed herself, knowing exactly what was going on.
