The group of six walked over to Vivian's Shrine. Lucy and Skylah seemed to be getting along, same with Slayzes and Aalto, but Xavi and Drake seemed jealous of the new relationships.

"Do you play Angry Birds? It's amazing!"

"I know! I love that game, Drake doesn't know how good it is!"

"I know right?"

"Skylah thinks that one of the smartest guys on Earth was Abby Einsteen." Slayzes whispered, sounding undetected.

"Really? She was joking right?" Aalto asked, surprised at the stupidity of Skylah. Slayzes shook his head. "Wow ... You told her it was Albert Einstein, right? Right?"

"Please, she would of corrected me back, just let her learn. But I did murmur it under my breath." The two boys looked at each other, then laughed.

Drake's left eye twitched, he couldn't let Aalto and Lucy bond with the enemy. Drake had read something in a book, or had watched something on television that came into his mind.

Keep your friends close, and your enemies closer.

"Yes, that's it!" Drake yelled aloud. All attention was on him, which made it an awkward situation.

"What's it?" Skylah asked, turning her attention away from Lucy.

"Yeah, Drake. What's it?" Aalto repeated Skylah's question.

"Oh, nothing! Just thinking of Elemental Academy classes!"

Crap that was close! Shut your mouth, Drake!

"So?" Aalto asked, making the topic completely invisible.

"So what?" Lucy asked, turning her head to Aalto.

"So who's buying?" Aalto grinned like a cheeky eight year old.

"I'll buy for me and Skylah, if that's okay," Slayzes replied, putting his arm around Skylah and smiling at her.

"Thanks, Slayzes."

"I'm buying for me Lucy," Drake said, getting out his wallet.

"I'll just do me," Xavi also said.

"I can just pay for me too, so it's settled?"

"Yeah," everybody else replied in unison.

Skylah stared a Drake for a while. She couldn't take her eyes off him, he was making it hard not to. "Does he always eat like this?" she whispered to Lucy.

"Yeah, I'm used to it now, but it is sickening," the girl whispered back.

Aalto tried eating with his eyes shut, but it wasn't working. Drake's eating was loud, it was disturbing Slayzes too. Xavi had music in hear ears, which made her the lucky one.

"Aren't you guys hungry?" Drake asked the group, being completely oblivious to why they weren't eating. "Come on! You guys were hungry before!" Drake continued scoffing down the burger, it was like watching a dog that hadn't eaten in days.

The five tried to continue eating their meals. Slayzes managed to eat his meal, the same went for Xavi and Lucy. Skylah and Aalto wern't so lucky.

Slayzes had thought of what Drake said a few weeks ago. About them being sworn enemies. So why were they acting like this? "Hey, Drake." Drake had stopped eating, he looked at Slayzes. "Why are you being nice to us? Didn't you say we were "sworn enemies"?"

Drake gulped down the rest of his burger. He wiped his mouth then responded to Slayzes's question. "I was just joking. I mean, you somehow found our secret base, it was kind of a threat to keep our base hidden. It may sound stupid but it's true."

"OK, got it. Just checking because you know, enemies don't act nice to each other."

"Right."

What a dumb guy, he can't see it.

"Well I am done with my burger," Drake said as he got up to walk over to the rubbish bin.

"Thank you," Aalto muttered under his breath. "So, we start term one on Monday, today is a Friday, as you know. Three more days, then we won't see our parents for ages."

"I haven't seen my parents for a while now," Skylah replied, taking the last bite of her meal.

Lucy tilted her head. "Why? Did something happen?"

"Yup." Skylah did one of those gloomy-it-is-okay smiles, she then let out a massive sigh.

"What uhh ... happened? If you don't mind me asking," Lucy asked.

"Slayzes can you please tell them? I need to use the restroom." Skylah then stood up and went to the bathrooms.

"So what happened?" Aalto asked, looking at the restrooms with concern for Skylah.

"Well ... When Skylah asked her parents if she could enroll in the academy, she was kicked out. We don't know why, and they didn't even let her pack, they packed for her, and just threw her bag at her. She is now living with me and my family, and it ... it affected her for a while, two or three weeks maybe. I managed to make her cheerful again, but it was only a few days ago."

"I'm so sorry," Lucy said, thinking about what had happened to Skylah.

"It must've been hard for her. Why do you think they kicked her out though?" Aalto asked, his voicing turning into a voice of a man who was full of kindness.

"I don't know ..." Slayzes closed his eyes, thinking of everything Skylah told him.

It doesn't add up, why?

"Sorry I took so long, I wanted a milkshake, a vanilla milkshake," Drake said as he sat down in his seat that he was sitting in only a few minutes ago. "What did I miss?" he asked looking at the three, and Xavi who was still jamming to her music.

Aalto and Lucy looked at each other. They both thought if they should tell Drake about Skylah and her dark time. Lucy was about to say something until Slayzes decided to cut off her first few words. "Nothing important," Slayzes glared at Lucy and Aalto. "Just a few boring things, you know, like ... Angry Birds?"

"Yes, that was ... that was it." Lucy tried smiling, hiding her concern for Skylah and guilt for not telling Drake the truth about Skylah.

"Angry Birds? You're boring, Slayzes," Drake replied, laughing quietly.

"It's a fun game." Slayzes argued, tapping his foot on the floor.

Skylah came back from the restrooms, her hands looking slightly wet. The girl sat down, smiling at Lucy and Aalto. "We should do this again, or hang out at the academy."

"I think that would be fun," Drake replied, hoping he could spend more time with Skylah.

"I guess," Aalto muttered.

"Maybe we can sit together on the train! The one that takes us to the academy? It would be fun!" Lucy suggested enthusiastically.

"OK!" Everybody agreed in unison.

Slayzes stood up. "Sorry, but I need to go home, got to get these uniforms clean and ready. Let's go, Skylah."

"Right, coming. Bye guys, see you later!"

"Bye!" Lucy waved her hand and smiled. "We should go too, we need to discuss other plans."

"Yeah," Aalto replied.

Xavi had taken her earphones out. She looked around stupidly. "Where is Slayzes and Skylah?" Everybody glared at her, making the girl feel uncomfortable.

"They just left, idiot." Drake gave Xavi an even bigger glare. He was making the girl feel like an idiot.
