Chapter 7 - Live by Luck

Lucy dragged Aalto up onto the lounge. His nose was dripping tons of blood. The puch Drake give him was quite powerful, it was the pain that worried Lucy. "You're heavy!" Lucy whined as she grabbed the cloth and wiped Aalto's mouth. Aalto was pretty much filling up his mouth with his own blood. Lucy tilted Aalto's head forward, his blood spilling out of his mouth. "I will clean that later." Lucy heard a knock at the door, she ran to the door and opened it.

"Lucy?" Skylah was alone, she was shocked when she saw Aalto's body behind Lucy. "What happened!"

"We told Drake that we told you the plan, and that we're out. Xavi slapped me, and Drake punched Aalto." Lucy felt her cheek, it was rose red. "Come in!"

"Aalto!" Skylah ran over to the boy, his blood was starting to slow down, but it was still running like a river with a strong current. "Didn't Drake do anything when Xavi slapped you?" Skylah asked, feeling Aalto's heart.

"No ... I don't think he will let me live with him anymore. He knew I was having money problems. Our parents died seven years ago months ago, he let me live with him so I could still have a home once he moved out our uncle's place." Lucy rubbed the bridge of her nose, thinking about what she should do. It came to Lucy's attention that Slayzes wasn't with Skylah. "Where's Slayzes?"

"He had to stay home, incase his parents got back. He did tell them that he wouldn't go anywhere, so I came." Skylah turned to Lucy. "We have to get him to the doctors."

"We can't! I hate Drake for what he did, but we can't get him into jail. He's my brother!"

"Lucy! We have to! We should just make up a different story! I'll drive! Just make sure he's okay."

"F–Fine! Just make sure the story seems believable!"

"I will. Now help me with Aalto, he is heavy!" Lucy went over to give Skylah a hand. Aalto's arms went over their shoulders. Aalto was still unconscious. He had been knocked out for about twenty minutes now.

The girls had to force Aalto into the car. Lucy sat in the back with him, making sure his body wouldn't take anymore injuries. "His seat belt is strapped! Let's go!" Lucy nakked at Skylah, tugging her shirt.

"Got it!" Skylah drove off, leaving a few marks on the road, but she needed to save a a life.

Drake walked into the cave with Xavi. He scanned the room. Nobody was in the room, just to Drake's expectation. "Xavi, go and fetch me the papers on the plans." Drake ordered, massaging his forehead. "It's going to be hard, trying to get a new plan. Argh!"

"Here you go, Drake." Xavi handed over the papers. "So what can we do now? They know about us, they won't even let us near them."

"I don't know, but hopefully that punch told Aalto that he made a mistake. Traitor."

"Drake! Do you hear that?" Xavi heard footsteps, they were getting louder and louder.

"Hide!" Drake ordered in a low voice. Drake and Xavi hid behind two boulders. While Drake was waiting for this stranger to come out into the open, Drake tried thinking of a new plan to get Skylah and Slayzes to separate.

"Get out here Drake!" A voice called.

"Slayzes?" Drake whispered, sounding angry just by listening to him.

"Maybe he wants me?" Xavi suggested as she closed her eyes and imagined her and Slayzes kissing.

"Drake I just heard your voice! As soon as my parents got home I came after you! SHOW YOURSELF!"
