Ten days after learning the news and Slayzes was still in a bubble of confusion. It never made sense to him. Slayzes was always good at reading, he could spell properly, there was no evidence that Slayzes was dyslexic. None at all.
Riley and Skylah had other thoughts too. They both knew Slayzes well enough to know that he wasn't dyslexic, but Headmaster Kralo said he was – how would he know though?
Slayzes spent most of his days at the academy, still, he didn't see any problems with his reading. The homework he received was completed and handed in on time and marked nicely. Maybe Headmaster Kralo got mixed up with something or someone different?
Slayzes asked himself many questions in his head at lunch. Every single second at lunch had something to do with Slayzes thinking if he was really dyslexic, nothing else. Sometimes his friends would be talking to him and he would just cut his hearing off and lose himself deep within his thoughts.
Bailey was a big help with Slayzes. He would usually be encouraging his best friend to keep on pushing his way through the term. Riley and Aalto would also be helping Slayzes if he felt down or upset over his newfound reading disorder. Emily would sometimes help, she wasn't really around Slayzes that much anymore these days. Skylah and Drake mostly sat near Slayzes in classes they had together, or they would hang out with him after school hours. As for Lucy, she would rarely help out Slayzes since nobody told her that Slayzes was dyslexic, so the girl would just hang around and mess around with her friends.
Riley and Bailey suggested a visit to Headmaster Kralo's office, just to make sure that Slayzes was dyslexic. Slayzes knocked three times on the door of Headmaster Kralo's office.
"Come in," an old voice said.
Slayzes, Riley and Bailey entered the office to find a rather sick Kralo. The man didn't seem to be in dangerous health, but his appearance was slightly altered. His lips were cracked, his face was pale and his arms were thinner.
"Are you OK, sir?" Bailey asked.
Headmaster Kralo stood up from his chair. "I am fine, just a little flu. Can I help you three?" The man stretched his back before coughing.
Riley took a step towards the Headmaster. "We just wanted to know if Slayzes is–"
"Dyslexic?" Headmaster Kralo finished for the girl. "Slayzes is known to have good reading skills," he coughed once more in between his sentences. "Yet he is still dyslexic. If I might ask, why is this bothering you?"
"I just feel different now, I don't feel dyslexic," Slayzes looked down at his shoes in embarrassment.
"You're a smart boy, Slayzes," Headmaster Kralo pointed out. "Don't let your dyslexia hold you back, you're a good student no matter how you are," Headmaster Kralo forced a weak smile onto his wrinkled face. "And you can't feel dyslexic," he added.
Slayzes smiled before making his way to the door, with his friends following behind him. Just before leaving Slayzes turned his view back to Headmaster Kralo. "Are you sure you'll be alright, sir?"
"I'll be fine, now go."
The three left the building to enjoy the rest of their lunch.

Drake looked around the shop with Skylah. A group of meowing were filling their ears. Skylah looked around for the perfect cat to buy.
"Found one?" Drake asked, bored out of his mind. "Are we even allowed to have pets in our dorms? You can't just get a pet without looking at the rules."
