6 months later

Exactly on this day 6 months ago Ricky and Nini meet for the first time ever. So as a celebration Ricky decided to invite Nini to his place. While he was preparing Dinner for the two of them Nini was dropping her Daughter Emma off at her parents house. "have fun tonight sweetie." She nodded "I will, it's always fun with Ricky." Around 20 minutes later she pulled up in front of his house. The brunette had never been at his house, so she was stunned.

Ricky lived in a huge mansion. The gate had a security code, which he had given her earlier that day. So now she was standing in front of his front door waiting for him to open it. "Nini" he engulfed her in a hug. She smiled after he let go. "It's great to see you too, although we see each other everyday at work." He laughed a bit "You have a good point, now come in I made dinner."

The part she didn't know about was that for the last 6 months he started catching feelings and today was the day he would talk to her about that. For obvious reasons he was really nervous but tried his best not to let Nini know. "Your house is very nice" She suddenly said. "I like it too." There was an awkward silence in the air which normally didn't exist. "We should probably go eat" Ricky finally said to break the silence. Nini nodded and followed him into the dinning room. After they finished eating Nini took all her confidence to ask him something. "So, you've been acting different today. Is there a reason?"

Ricky was caught totally off guard, so he just came up with a lame excuse. "I was wondering if maybe I could meet Emma." That wasn't a complete lie, but not why he was acting weird. She smiled "Of course. She'll love you." A bit of relieve must have been visible on his face. The brunette giggled "You really thought I would say no, didn't you?" He nodded "Yay, you can be lets say scary." "I'll take that as a compliment." Shortly after the two of them sat in the living room watching a movie. To be more exact they were watching the greatest showman. "I could watch that movie everyday" Nini said after the movie finished. Ricky on the other hand hated the movie but he watched it for her. "Oh, and don't pretend like you liked it. I know you hate musicals. Thanks for watching it with me anyways." He started laughing "Am I that bad of an actor?" She nodded "Yeah."

Their faces kept getting closer and they were about to kiss when Nini's phone started ringing. "I have to take that" She said after looking at the screen seeing that it was her mom. "Hey" There was a moment where Nini was just listening. "I'll be there in a bit." She hung up and gave Ricky an apologetic look. "I have to go Emma isn't feeling well." He smiled "Just text me if you can't make it to work tomorrow." And with that she was out the door leaving a confused Ricky behind.

Later that night Ricky got a text from Nini saying that she will not be able to make it to work the next day because she had to take Emma to the hospital. Nini actually didn't mind that it happened that day because it got her out of that awkward situation. She definitely likes him but he's her boss, that would just be weird. "Mommy" The brunette girl's heart melted when she heard Emma call her mommy for the first time ever. "You'll be fine, it's just the flu." She took the next week of off work to take her care of her sick daughter, which also gave her time to think. Maybe it was worth a try.

„Mommy I'm hungry." The small curly haired girl walked down the stairs. "What do you want to eat?" But before the girl could answer the doorbell rang. When Nini opened the door, she was surprised to see Ricky standing there with a bag of take out in his hand. "I brought food I hope that's ok." She nodded "We were actually just about to make food, come on in." When Emma saw the curly haired men, she hid behind Nini. "He's scary" the little girl whispered. "Emma that is Ricky, he's a good friend of mine. Plus, he brought your favourite food." That brought the girl out of hiding "Nuggets and fries?" she asked in disbelieve. Ricky nodded "Your mom told me you like that." Emma hugged Ricky "Thank you" she turned to Nini "I like him."
