A year later

"MommaD I'm going to go pick my dad up from the airport" Nini yelled into the house while putting on her shoes.

It has been a year since she found out who her real parents are, well her real mother. Apparently, her biological father was theone who kidnapped her or something.

"Be careful Sweetie" she replied with, right as the brunette closed the front door. Today she was picking her dad up from the airport.

After she found out the truth, she decided to move to Salt Lake City and go to college here. she visited her dad once, but now he wants to meet her family and friends here. Sometimes it is weird to have two families and two places you call home, but she got used to it. 

"Dad" Nini said while running into his arms. He hugged her back with a huge smile on his face "My little girl." "I'm not little anymore" she told him.

He just smiled at her in return. "Now come in, I want to meet your moms." She just laughed at that.

Most adoptive parents would not be this happy, but her dad has always been different. A good different.

They drove to her mom's house while listening to
some of their songs, they had a whole playlist of these. She really missed him,and he missed her too.

As soon as they drove into the driveway the front door was pulled open by Momma C, she must have just come home from work. Nini stepped out of the car to hug her and she accepted it with a smile on her face. "Hey Mom" She said before pulling away.

Then her dad walked around the car and towards them. "Hello Carol, I'm Peter" he told her. Momma C shook his outstretched hand with a smile on her face. "It's a pleasure to met you Peter" she said. Peter smiled "The pleasure is all mine."

Just in that moment Momma D came out of the house too. "Guys, the coffee is getting cold" she told them, which caused Nini to laugh. "Well let us go inside. I want to meet that boyfriend my daughter has" her Dad said to Momma C.

"I don't have a boyfriend" she told him with a glare. He started laughing, while Momma C added "Sure, just Ricky, who you like."

The brunette glared at her too. "You two seem to get along great" she told them. Both started laughing at that and followed her into the house.

A few minutes later her Dad was sitting between Momma D and Momma C, while she sat betweenRicky and Gina. "So, If I got that right, you two are really close to Nini."

Ricky nodded his head "Yes, she's our best friend." Nini could practically see Gina rolling her eyes at his comment, even though she was facing Ricky.

It is no secret that Ricky and Nini have feelings for each other. He knows that she likes him, and she knows that he is in love with her. Normally they would be together by now, but she just cannot. Well, he also is not ready for arelationship after his ex-cheated on him, but she knew that if she wanted to, he would try for her.

Who would cheat on someone like Ricky, but anyways, that is besides the point. She does want to be in a relationship with him, it is just that she does not know how long she will still be here.

Her Dad knows that she has been thinking of going back to Australia, but no one else knows.

She cannot do long distance, not after her ex-boyfriend left to go to the us and just never contacted her again.

She knew it would be different with Ricky, but sheis still scared. "Neens" Ricky was waving his hand in front of her eyes."Yeah?" "You spaced out, everything ok?" He asked.

Nini nodded her head "yes, everything is fine." They would not know she was planning on going if shedecided against it, they just could not. It would hurt them too much. "How isyour decision making going Nini?" Her Dad asked her, which caused her tofreeze. "What decision?" Momma D asked her.

The brunette swallowed hard "I have been thinking of going back to Australia." "Well, we could all go there this year, if you miss it" Momma C added. Just as she was about to clarify Gina stepped in. "Carol, I think she means permanently."

Their eyes widened, well her mom's. Ricky was quiet and showed no reaction.

"Why? Did something happen?" She shook her head "I just miss my life there. I love you guys, but the Americanway of life just is not for me." "I have not decided fully yet though" she added when she saw their faces.

"If it is what's best or you, we'll obviously support you sweetie" Momma D said to her. Nini just smiled at her in response.

"Can we talk? Just the two of us?" Ricky asked. She nodded her head before standing up and making her way towards her room. She sat down on the bed while he closed the door.

As soon as he did, he started talking. "You didn't want to date me because of this, didn't you?" She shyly nodded her head "Mostly yes."

"You know that all of us would have understood." She sighed "I thought that you guys would think I was trying to get rid of y'all" Nini said.

There was an awkward silence until he spoke up "Let me come with you." Her eyes widened in shook "What?" "Let me come with you to Australia" he told her, while taking the necessary steps to bestanding right in front of her. He took her smaller hands into his larger ones andcaressed her knuckles "Please."

Nini looked up at him "I can't ask you to do that." "You wouldn't be asking me. I would be going because I wanted to" Ricky told her. The brunette tried to get up, but before she could she felt lips on hers.

When the shock wore off, she kissed him back. He put his hand behind her head to push her lips closer to his. When they both ran out of breath they pulledapart.

"Will you let me go now?" he asked her with hope in his eyes.

She giggled before nodding her head. "You are good at convincing me." That caused him to smirk "Am I?" just as those words left his lips, he pulled her into another kiss.

She kissed him back with the same amount of passion. "Nini, you know that I love you and that I would do anything for you. Can you please givethis, give us a chance?" he begged.

She nodded her head "I'd love nothing more." Just as those words left her lips, he kissed her for the third timetoday. All of the sudden someone cleared their throat.

They jumped away from each other to see Gina standing in the doorway with a smirk on her face. "So,what did I miss?" she asked.

Nini could not answer because she was blushing like crazy, so Ricky did. "Well, I was kissing my girlfriend. You have aproblem with that?"

That caused Gina's eyes to widen in surprise, but she quickly jumped up and down in joy. "Omg, since when?" "Like 2 minutes ago at the most" he said. Her mouth was wide open now "What? How? But you are leaving!" "Ricky convinced me to let him go with me and that meant I had no reason to resist him anymore."

Gina smiled "I'm happy for you two." They both smiled at their curly haired best friend. "We're sorry that you'll be alone here soon" He told her.

She raised her eyebrows in confusion "Who said I was going to stay her? I am not going to stay In Salt Lake, while you two have fun in Australia. I'm coming too."

That caused Nini to hug her tightly. When they pulled apart Ricky pulled her into his side. "I guess the gang is moving to Australia" the brunette said.

"Australia here we come!" they all yelled before falling into a fit of laughter.
