It's been 9 months since Nini found out she was pregnant, since they broke up. It has been a month since their daughter was born. She just recently got an apartment in Salt Lake City. She knew there were ways to prove Anna was his child, but most of them would ruin his career and she did not want that. So, the brunette decided to just raise her daughter on her own. Thankfully they never showed Nini to the public, so no one knew she used to be married to Ricky Bowen.

Nini started working at East high as a theatre teacher since it paid more than her previous job and she did go to college for that job. The first year was the hardest for her. Every other night she would wake up and think of what could have been. She was regretting her decision so much, if she had just told him she would still be happily married to the love of her life.

Three years after they divorce she started dating again, but she couldn't help but compare all of them to her curly haired ex-husband. Except this one guy, his name was John. After a few months of being together she introduced him to her daughter. "She's such a sweet girl" the man said with a smile on his face. "Yeah." "Her name is Anna Louise Salazar-Roberts, right?" Nini hesitantly shook her head, since she knew he would ask questions. "Her last name is Bowen."

He raised an eyebrow "Bowen as in Ricky Bowen. How did you even get the hospital to agree?" She swallowed hard "We well used to be married. Anna is his child." John's eyes widened in shook "You do realize that Ricky keeps denying he has a kid." The brunette nodded her head "He thinks I cheated on him and that she is not his daughter." The man started laughing "Is he serious? I've known you for a few months and I know you would never cheat on someone you actually love. If you married him, I think you did love him." She looked at the ground with aguilty feeling in her chest "You still love him, do you?" "I do."

He sighed "Then fucking talk to him and tell him the whole truth." Nini shook her head "I tried for 8 months, but he wouldn't listen to me. All our friends tried telling him too, but he just cut of contact with all of them." John engulfed the women in a tight hug "It's obvious that you will never get over him unless you talk to him. I will still be here for you, but we aren't working." She nodded her head "Thank you for everything."

Ricky wasn't over Nini either, but he is better off than she is. He had decided to visit his dad for the first time since Nini and he had gotten discovered, since he was pretty sure she moved to Salt Lake City.

The curly haired men just got off the plan and was happily awaited by his dad and his stepmom. Jenn, his stepmom, didn't know anything about Ricky being married before. Ricky choose to keep it a secret and since she wasn't dating Mike yet when everything happened she didn't know. So that she was working along side his ex-wife wasn't known to her. His dad knew though, but he had no idea how to tell his son. "Good to see you dad" they hugged before he turned to Jenn and hugged her too.

„How is it being back here?" She asked. He swallowed hard but put on a fake smile. "It's great, I was just busy before." They group of adults made their way to the car and drove to his childhood home. It was way to close to the Salazar-Roberts home for his liking. As soon as they got through the door Jenn spoke up "I have to quickly drop of something at my colleagues home, but I'll be back soon."

Nini knew she was working with her ex-husband's stepmom, but since his dad believed her she was ok with it. It was awkward at times, for example when Mike picked his wife up from work. But over the last four years she got used to it. When Anna turned one Mike decided he had enough and wanted to be part of his grandchild's life. So once a week Nini would drop her daughter of at the Bowne's house so they could babysit her. The couple had informed the brunette that they couldn't look after her that week, but they never said why.
