Ricky ran past Nini crying, she did care but didn't want to disappoint her friends. You could see how guilty she felt just by looking at her and Gina noticed "Stop worring about this idiot, he'll never fell the same." Nini nodded and wiped away her tears.

"You're right, I'll find someone who isn't such a loser." Gina smiled "Good." But what she didn't know is that Nini didn't mean that. The rest of the school day she was the meanest she has ever been, she wanted to impress her friends.

Then Ricky came into the cafeteria at Lunch and Gina challenged her to be mean to hi too. "Proof yourself" She pointed at Ricky. Nini didn't want to but felt like she had no other choice. She walked up to him and threw the vegetables into his face. She quickly put her hands in front of her mouth "I'm so sorry" She whispered.

A teacher came up to them "Detention." Nini nodded ashamed, then the teacher noticed Ricky "For you too." Ricky looked shocked "Why? I didn't do anything." But the teacher was already gone. "Great, you got me in trouble." Nini started picking up the vegtabels "I'm really sorry, I just wanted to be excepted by my friends." He shock his head "I thought you were a nice person but no matter what reason this had it wasn't ok." Ricky started walking over to Big red.

Nini went back to her friends, who didn't even notice what happened. "So?" Gina asked. Nini shrug her shoulders "Went terribly wrong, I got detention." No one answered, which probably meant they didn't listen. At the end of the school day she said goodbye to her friends, who were going to In-and Out, and went to detention.

As she entered the classroom she saw that there was only one desk left, Right next to Ricky. She sighed but went over to sit down. "Hey" She smiled." He looked at her and then quickly looked away. Then the teacher came and gave them work to do. Nini was other than people think really smart so she was finished really fast. Ricky on the ither hand wasn't, he couldn't do it without help but the teacher was busy doing something.

„If you want to I can help you." You could see that he really didn't want to but he had no other choice "Ok." She put her chair closer to Ricky's desk. Then she started explaining it to him, which was easier than she thought. AS she finished explaining Ricky smiled "Thank you." She smiled "No problem, It's the least I could after I got you into this trouble." She looked down at her feet. "Don't worry, I know how horrible they can be." Nini looked up looking confused "How?"

He scratched his head "Well, I used to date Gina." You could see the surprise in her face. "Wow, I'm so sorry for you." They started laughing "I'm too." They talked for the rest of detention, again the teacher was doing something and didn't notice. When the teacher ended detention Nini invited Ricky to come to her house. He smiled "Sure." She didn't have a Drivers license. Ricky did though so he drove them. When they got to her house Nini opened the door and checked if her parents are home. "You can come in" She closed the door behind him. "You want to go up to my room?" He nodded.

They went up to her room, she sat down on her bed and surprisingly Ricky did the same. "Is that ok?" She nodded "Of course." Nini and Ricky started telling each other everything about they're life. Then Nini decided to get some snacks. "I'll be right back." She went into the kitchen and grabbed a bag of chips and her favourite gummy bears. She ran back up the stairs and threw the snacks onto her bed. Ricky opened the bag with the gummy bears inside and ate a hand full. Nini reached for the bag when she touched his hand.

She quickly pulled back her hand "Are you ok?" He asked. She looked up directly into Ricky's eyes and so did he. They both leaned in and kissed each other. As they pulled apart both had a huge smile on their face. At first it was akward though, neither of them said a word but couldn't take their eyes of each other.

Then Nini made the first step "I like you a lot." Ricky kissed her again "I do too."
