Hey guys! Firstly, I hope you're enjoying this book, I really pleased with how it's going. Secondly, I just wanted to remind people that this is pure fiction. I know none of this would happen in real life, it is very unrealistic in some aspects, but please just go with it. My whole idea is pretty unrealistic to be honest, but it has to be to some extent for it to be enjoyable to read (and also to write).
I also wanted to explain a few things, just to clear them up slightly.
Subin is definitely too trusting of Sejun to begin with, but he has his reasons. He is quite naive too, but he also has his reasons for that - remember part of that is to do with growing up only having his brothers and their friends to hang around with.
I know this book is heavily focused on relationship building between the characters, and it doesn't include many other characters, the king or queen for instance. This is because it helps the story flow(?) better, to a certain extent. The princes have quite a big say in what goes on, and their parents are away a lot, so it is left up to them what happens sometimes - with the assistance of Seungwoo, who is one of the senior guards who helps them make those decisions. None of what is happening would be happening if the king was involved (due to Sejun's backstory), but that is just part of it all.
Finally - this is only a minor thing, but as some of you may have guessed, yes the royal guard 'Seungyoun' is based on Cho Seungyoun a.k.a Woodz. Please check him out if you haven't already, he is extremely talented and I love him so much!
There are also a few more characters that are idols from other groups that will appear later on in the book too.
I hope that cleared some things up, and please don't hesitate to comment any further questions you have - I will try my best to answer them without giving any more of the plot away!
The other thing I wanted to say was happy birthday to our baby Subinnie! (antisocialkpoper you are welcome for these 😂)
