"Hyung." Subin sniffled. He tried to hard to calm himself down to stop himself from crying, but as soon as he saw Byungchan he couldn't help but let out a sob.

"Subinnie! What's wrong?" He took the crying prince into his arms, concerned about what made his brother so upset - it was very rare to see him cry.

"Its stupid."

"Please tell me. I want to help!" Sometimes it was hard to believe that Byungchan was older than Subin.

Subin took a deep breath. "Seungwoo hyung raised his voice at me. And basically told me to go away." He pretty much spoke with a pout.

"Why? He never raises his voice!"

"I know." Subin rolled his eyes. It didn't take long for him to be back to his usual self, complaining about his hyungs.

"Anyway, he told me you wanted to see me, even though I'm pretty sure you don't, because he didn't want me there. But I don't know why!" Subin threw his arms up in frustration, shrugging his brothers arms off of him in the process.

Byungchan knew him too well.

"There has to be more to it than that."

Subin turned away from Byungchan, so that he was looking over the railing of the small bridge they were stood on in the palace garden. He stared down into the water, knowing something was off about the whole situation, but he didn't want to drag his brothers into it. Subin knew some things were best kept to himself. But he also knew that the princes needed to stick together, and they had always told each other pretty much everything, even with the age gaps they had between them.

"I snuck out the palace." The young prince waited for the scolding to commence, but to his surprise it didn't. He turned his head to look at Byungchan.

"You're not going to scold me?"

Byungchan smiled at him knowingly.

"Seungwoo hyung told me already."

"Of course he did!" Subin sighed. Nothing could be a secret in this place.

"That, and its more fun to let Seungsik hyung scold you when he gets back." Byungchan giggled as the younger punched is arm lightly.

"Hey!" He glared playfully.

"So what happened while you were outside the grounds? I know something else happened, otherwise Seungwoo hyung wouldn't have raised his voice at you."

"I went into the town," They began walking off the bridge and further into the garden, "and walked around the market. It's such a nice place, I think you would really like it. Anyway, I got distracted-"

Byungchan laughed. "Of course you did."

"Hush. Anyway, I got distracted and ended up walking towards the outskirts, which wasn't one of my smartest ideas. There was a creepy old man that cornered me, he obviously recognised me, and I'm pretty sure he would have done things to me if he hadn't been stopped." Subin shuddered as he remembered the horrible feeling of the man's hands gripping him.

"Oh my goodness! Are you okay?" The older did the whole checking-over-the-person-who-was-supposedly-hurt thing, seeing that Subin didn't, in fact, have any marks on him.
