"How do you know that kid?" The guard questioned.

Sejun sighed. "Minhee is one of the newest 'recruits'. I kind of mentored him, I guess. I wasn't expecting him to be sent, that asshole." He was in disbelief that his boss would send Minhee out of all people, the person most like a younger brother to him. It was getting personal at that point.

"How old is he?"

"18. Too fucking young." He was speaking from experience with that. He believed nobody should have to do what he was doing at that age, yet Sejun had to.

"I wont say who it was." Seungwoo reassured the younger. "I'll say he got away or something. I'm not going to let him get into shit because of this."

Sejun thanked him.

"Just promise you'll try and get him out of that mess, when you can?" It was the almost the easiest thing he had ever agreed to do.

Sejun left Seungwoo to do whatever he was doing before and decided to go for a walk to clear his head before going back to Subin. He wanted to at least somewhat organise all the thoughts flying around in his brain.

He knew why his boss sent Minhee, but even then it made reality hit too hard in that moment. The realisation of what he had to do. He couldn't explain how he was feeling, or what was going on, not even to Subin, and it really took its toll on Sejun.

He wanted all of it to be over, finished with, completely done.

He wanted out - out of that life.

"He sent you for a reason didn't he?"

Minhee nodded. "I didn't want to, but he made me. He knew it would hurt Sejun if he sent me."

The other nodded.

"He might actually do his fucking job now. Well, now that it's been threatened."

"He has to and he knows it. Boss already said he's a dead man if he returns once more without doing it." Minhee explained.

"I'll keep an eye on what's going on and report back. Tell the boss that." Minhee nodded at the instruction, turning to leave.

"Minhee?" He turned back to look at the other. "Don't go getting yourself killed. Tell him not to send anyone else now, I sense shits about to start."

With that the younger left on his long journey to report back to their boss, knowing it would go one of two ways. Sejun would either end up being praised well or killed, there was no in between when it came to their boss.

~~~
Seungwoo strolled through the palace, trying to find the oldest prince to report what had happened to him. He knew he wasn't going to like a single thing he was going to tell him, but it had to be said.
He found Seungsik in the library, of all places. It was the only place where he had specified to everyone that he was to be left alone when in there and not disturbed. It mostly applied to his brothers, especially when they were younger, but it had become a known thing throughout the palace, and was respected and known by almost everyone there.
