Sejun dropped to his knees as Minhee's arms let go of him as he stumbled backwards away from the older. Seungyoun ran to Minhee, grabbing his arm, half to comfort him and half to keep him from running away, while Yohan and Hanse ran to Sejun, Yohan picking the now abandoned knife up from the ground.

Seungwoo watched from the side, still holding onto the boss with a vice-like grip, despite wanting nothing more than to run over and help also. All he could see was Sejun on the ground on all-fours heaving out breaths, Minhee sobbing into Seungyoun's shoulder, and Yohan looking at him with frantic eyes. He looked back down at the older man knelt in front of him. He had his head bowed in defeat, knowing that because he lost Minhee, he had lost everything.

Sejun finally lifted his head slightly, just enough to see that there was indeed blood on his neck, but not in the life-threatening way that everyone thought. Luckily for him, Minhee had spared his life, leaving nothing more than a small cut where the blade was originally pressed against.

Seungwoo let out what sounded like a both a breath and a chuckle, not really believing the situation. Nobody was quite sure what had just happened, but everyone was alive and mostly unharmed, and they had successfully completed their mission.

"Are you okay?" Hanse lent down enough to see Sejun's face.

He pushed himself up so he was kneeling. "I'm alive, aren't I?" He let out a laugh.

"You're fucking insane, Lim Sejun!" Seungwoo shook his head.

"If you were a cat, you would most definitely be on your last life by now." Hanse shoved his shoulder lightly.

"I know." The assassin turned to look over his shoulder just enough to see how Minhee was doing. He knew the younger almost killed him but at that point he owed him his life - he saved his.

Minhee looked up and saw the older looking at him, causing a fresh wave of tears to begin falling down his cheeks.

The three guards all shared a look, communicating that they should leave the other three alone for the moment, and to get the man back to the palace for questioning before he was locked up for good. Both the guards knelt on the ground with Sejun patted his shoulder before leaving with Seungwoo, who nodded at him as he left.

The assassin slowly turned himself around to properly face Minhee and Seungyoun, both of whom looked to be in complete states of shock.

"I'm sorry." The youngest choked out though tears.

Sejun just shook his head, pulling him into his arms and letting him cry.

"It's over now." Seungyoun spoke. "It's all over. We're free."

His words were enough to make Sejun feel emotional, knowing how much all three of them must have been through, because despite not knowing each other well, they were all in the same situation. They were all trapped in the clutches of that disgusting man who wanted no more than for them to harm others and, if needed, to die for him.

"It's not your fault, Minhee. You saved me." He patted the younger's back. "I owe you my fucking life."

Minhee pulled away, wiping his eyes with his sleeve. "It's ironic." He let out a chuckle. "You're the one that taught me that."
