Just like their plan, Seungyoun left the palace with the note written by Sejun later that afternoon, Seungwoo taking over his post at the gate with Yohan, partly to make sure that he came back alright.

By the time he had reached the place he usually met with his boss, it was dark, but there was a soft glow coming from inside his boss' office room, indicating that he was still there. He knocked on the door and waited for an answer before entering, seeing his boss sat at his desk.

"Ah Seungyoun! Bearing good news I hope?" The man seemed happy that he was there but also slightly confused - probably because he was expecting Sejun instead.

The guard tried to smile at him but it came out more like a grimace. "Yes I do."

His boss clapped his hands together. "Excellent! Has he done it?"

Seungyoun nodded before handing him the note, his boss taking it quickly, skimming over the words briefly, nodding to himself as he did so.

"Good... good." He mumbled while reading. Once he had finished he looked back up at the younger like he was checking for something, making his palms sweat even more than they already were.

"He seems to have changed his tune since last time I spoke to him. I almost thought he wasn't going to do it!" He laughed like it was a funny joke.

Seungyoun laughed along nervously. "So, do you agree?" His boss looked at him suspiciously.

"I'm sorry to rush you, but I need to get back before people get suspicious." He trailed off, shifting his weight from one foot to the other.

His boss sat back in his chair, rubbing his chin and thinking. "Okay." He nodded again. "Tomorrow night."

The guard nodded, deciding it was time for him to take his leave, but just as he was walking out the door, his boss called out to him.

"I will have to give you a warning, Seungyoun." He turned around looking confused and slightly scared. "He wasn't supposed to know about you, and you blew your cover."

Seungyoun looked down in shame.

"I just hope that for your sake nobody else knows, otherwise you're in trouble."

"I understand, sir."

"Good. Now get out of here."

As soon as Seungyoun arrived back, both Seungwoo and Yohan bombarded him with questions, mainly asking if everything went well and if his boss was at all suspicious or reluctant to agree.

"Of course he was suspicious! But I'm pretty sure he doesn't suspect anything." He hesitated at the end of his sentence, which went unnoticed by Seungwoo, who left to tell Sejun the new developments.

Yohan, however, did notice his hesitation.

"You hesitated."

"What?" His first plan was to deny everything. "I didn't." But it came out more like a question, giving him away.

"You did!" Yohan stepped closer, pointing his finger at him.
