Shay's P.O.V.
WHAT?!
Liam and Hadley?!
They made out?!
No, someone’s gotta be kidding me!
My best friend and Liam?!
Tears started forming into my eyes. I felt so betrayed…
“Get out Liam” I said coldly, avoiding looking at him
“Shay, no… Listen…”
“I don’t want to fucking listen! GET OUT!” I yelled
I grabbed my rib which felt sore
“Shay please…” he muttered
“Don’t make me say it again!”
He looked away and did as he said. When he closed the door as I burst into tears. I couldn’t describe how this felt… My head was spinning around and I winced as the image of Liam and Hadley making out, crossed my mind. I knew I was a horrible person but I didn’t deserve this…
Hadley’s P.O.V.
Before knocking on the door of Shay’s room, I took a couple of deep breaths. This was going to be tough. I couldn’t even face my best friend after what I did but most of all, I couldn’t see Liam with her. He was probably behind the door, holding her and telling her how much he loved her. Damn it! Who was I kidding?! I was in love with Liam and there wasn’t a worse moment to find out.
“Come in” I heard Shay’s voice when I finally knocked on the door
“Hey” I said softly and smiled
“Hadley!” she exclaimed and open her arms inviting me into a hug
Thank god Liam wasn’t there…
“How are you sweetie?” I asked hugging her back
“A little bit tired and my ribs feel sore, apart from that, fine” she said chuckling
“Good!”
“So, did anything extraordinary or special happen while I was asleep?”
Cold sweat ran across my spine as I started shaking. I couldn’t remember how to breathe!
Inhale… Exhale… Inhale… Exhale… That was it.
“Nope” I responded
“You sure?” she insisted
“Yeah, nothing special”
“Cool. Can you help me stand up?”
“Sure!” I said and offered her my hand
She stood up, smiled and then… slapped me. Hard.
“Shay?” I whispered cupping my cheek
“You made out with Liam and you’re sure nothing special happened?!” she yelled
