PART 5

Shay’s P.O.V.

“Don’t be like that! I can’t take it anymore… Last night I called Lindsay” he stated and my face lit up

“You did?”

“I did and I told her I am in love with the most beautiful girl I’ve ever seen”

“Wait… What? You mean you are…”

“Completely in love with you Shay”

“And the whole Lindsay-thing is over?”

He nodded smiling. I went closer and wrapped my arms around his neck. “It means absolutely nothing. I still don’t want to be with you” I said pulling away and left

I‘m not crazy, k? I was in love with him and I knew it. I just didn’t want to be with him right after he called Lindsay especially after he suggested us being together while he’s with her… I wanted to make sure that he wanted me before getting involved.

Mason’s P.O.V.

The girl is insane! I mean, she wouldn’t talk to me for a week because of Lindsay and she doesn’t want to be with me! What the fuck man?!

I walked out of her classroom and headed to the parking

“Where are you going man?” Holden asked

“Fuck off” I snarled

I got into the car and turned the engine on.

Now, Holden is my best friend since 2nd grade and I don’t even know why I was such an asshole. But she really pissed me off! She’s crazy!

And there was only one thing that could calm me down. I knew it was still March but I needed it. It was my way to get high.

Half an hour later, here I am taking my hoodie, t-shirt and shoes off

I did a few steps and looked at the -freezing- water. I loved cliff diving.

I took a deep breath and jumped…

Shay’s P.O.V.

“Isn’t it amazing?” Hadley exclaimed

We were going to the cafeteria and she was babbling about God knows what- I didn’t pay attention so I just nodded

I ordered a chicken salad -as usual- and she ordered rice with vegetables. Ew!

We took a seat at our regular table and started eating

“Where is he?” Hadley asked

“Where is who?”

“Mason”

I scanned the cafeteria only to realize that she was right

Where was he?

After the bell, I went to my locker to find that book- I had English as next period

But I couldn’t really pay attention to the lesson… I was thinking of Mason… I was really worried…

After the last period, I called him. He didn’t show up the whole day!

“Who?” he said picking it up

“Mason… Hi… It’s me… S-“

“What do you want Shay?”

“A-Are you ok? I mean… You didn’t show up and…”
