PART 20

Hadley's P.O.V.

It's been three days since Shay nearly died and ever since Liam has been suffering from nightmares. Every time he tried sleeping, he would wake up screaming and saying that she died and it was all his fault.

I guess it has to do with what happened at the hospital...

*Hadley's Short Flashback*

I was arguing with Mr. Duncan so that Liam could sneak into the ICU and see Shay when I heard "Doctor, please! Someone! Help!"

And then I heard the beeping...

OH

GOD

!

Some doctors started started running up and down the corridor.

After using that defibrillator thing, the constant beeping went back to beep, beep, beep.

It was so scary! I was shaking, her mother was yelling and Liam... well, Liam wanted to shoot himself.

"What happened?!" Lisa asked when the doctor came out

"I don't know. Everything was fine until, all of a sudden, her heart grew weaker. The problem is that when someone is at a coma for days and their organism starts becoming weaker, the possibilities of waking up are diminishing" the doctor announced and everyone froze

WHAT?!

How is that even possible?! No! Shay has to wake up!!!

*End of Flashback*

We left a couple of minutes later and ever since Liam refused going back saying it was all his fault. I really couldn't understand what happened. He got punched by her dad numerous times because he wasn't leaving and after hearing that she is even weaker, he was just not going to the hospital? What the freak happened?

I looked at him. He was sleeping peacefully for the last 2 hours...

ARGH!

This was the millionth time I caught myself staring at his lips...

What is wrong with me?!

Ok, I knew that the whole kissing-thing was a total surprise and all but I just couldn't understand why I was looking at his lips all the time. And I was doing it unconsciously! I swear! It just happens.

As for Jason... Well, he wasn't even looking at me during the last three days. And for some reason, I didn't really care.

Correction.

I did care, it just didn't hurt.

Anyway. I heard Lindsay will be back soon and I am afraid that when she'll find out what happened, she won't be really happy and it was worldwide known that when Lindsay Brown doesn't like something, she can be a real bitch.
