Chapter 27 impala ride

"it's so late" Y/n mumbled pulling open the back seat of the impala groaning as she shivered Dean got in the car as did Sam both shook their hair of the water instantly hitting Y/n.

"Guys stop!" She groaned shivering as she tried to shield her face Dean smiled in front of her as Sam passed her a towel from his bag she thanked him and began drying her face then her hair.

"Told you it was gonna rain" Dean said starting up Baby the loud roar making Y/n smile.

"Ye but I didn't think I'd have to go back and save your stupid ass in this hurricane" Y/n said loudly Sam burst out laughing while Dean threw his middle finger up as she smiled rubbing his head with the towel he swatted her hand away making her laugh until another bolt of lightening went across the sky.

"I swear Dean you better get us home" she said gripping his shoulders.

"Don't worry sweetheart I will, it's just a little Ra...." Dean began but stopped as hail stones hit the impala wind screen and then a large boom of thunder made Y/n scoot towards the front seat holding Sam and Deans shoulders.

"Please tell me there are no tornado warnings" Sam mumbled pulling out his laptop he soon nodded.

"We should head for cover got a warning out, one should be touching down in a couple minutes" Sam said quickly Dean sighed and quickly pulled off the road as another truck drove past him quickly.

"Idiot" Dean mumbled dodging a car he pulled down and across a large road and then into a large under set tunnel thankful that baby just fit.

"I've never seen a tornado" Y/n said peering out the back window seeing it touch down in a field a couple miles south of their location, trees were sucked up into the tornado as it made it's unknown path.

"They're dangerous unpredictable" Dean said climbing over the seat he sat beside her looking out as Sam continued searching making sure the rest of the journey would be clear of any bad storms.

"It picked up a barn!" Y/n said loudly looking at the destroyed barn as the tornado got closer.

"Drive deeper into the tunnel Sammy it's getting too close" Dean said quickly Sam moved over and pulled the impala in further until Baby couldn't go anymore.

"Okay we should be alright" Dean said softly looking out until pieces of wood and metal began fly into and past the opening hitting the back window Sam quickly ducked and Dean pulled
Y/n down covering her.

"It's on top of us!" Dean said loudly Y/n nodded gripping onto Dean until finally everything went quiet.

Dean slowly began to sit up but Y/n stopped him pulled him back down against her.

"Dean stay where you are" Y/n said grabbing the towel she began pushing something back through the roof until it clinked out on the roof Dean knelt upwards and looked out the back window his knees leant beside her hips.

"You guys alright?" Sam asked quickly leaning up.

"Ye I'm alright" Dean said softly while Y/n just held her thumb up, Dean helped her sit up as she looked at him flustered he smirked and winked at her throwing himself over the seat once Sam had moved back to the passenger side.

"Okay I like tornadoes" Y/n said fascinated Sam shook his head while She laughed, Dean began pulling out of the tunnel until the car came to a stop.

"There's a tree branch, I'll get it" Y/n said quickly ducking out the car she pulled it out from under the car and threw it out the tunnel making sure the path was clear she got back in.

"Okay we're good pull out to the right there's a large tree down on the left" Y/n said softly placing her hand on Dean's shoulder as he turned up the heating Y/n continued to shiver.
