Later that night;
The Core Lounge; Raleigh; North Carolina;
Matt's POV;

Jeff and I had arrived at the new bar a little over an hour ago. I had been talking non stop all day about this place. Because he had been on the road with Smackdown doing some promotional stuff for the network move, he hadn't been able to make it to the opening last night.

It had been a good night too, the bar had opened to a huge success and it wasn't hard to see why. Suzie Scott had, clearly had a strong vision for the way she wanted the bar to look and it had come out perfectly. Dark Gothic colours gave a deep, calming experience, there were three bars within the building; an oblong shaped bar in the centre of the main area, another upstairs in the VIP area and the last one down the stairs in the area where there were a few pool tables and large comfortable sofas where you could relax and just enjoy chatting.

Framed photos of Elvis Presley, Johnny Cash, Marlon Brando, James Dean and other famous stars adorned the walls, the music was strictly rock and country, which seemed to just give the bar that little something extra. In fact it felt like forever since I had been in a club where they didn't play dance music.

"So what do you think bro?" I asked Jeff as he seemed to be taking in his surroundings in much the same way Shannon and I had done the previous night.

"I think...I like it," He nodded as he sipped at his JD and cola.

Shannon was running late, as always so we were just hanging out waiting for him. Plus I was meeting Brittany here at some point. The little sister of the owner of this club had captured my eye last night without too much effort on her part. With burgundy hair that tumbled down over her shoulders in a large bounce, her beautiful dark eyes had captured me with just one glance and the smile that curled up over her beautiful features had me all but admit love in a second.

We had spent the majority of the night talking last night, she was incredibly funny and sweet, her caring nature clear when she kept checking that her older sister was ok. The sexy southern drawl in her accent had melted my heart in a way that I hadn't felt in the longest time.

By the time I had gotten home last night, I hadn't been able to help myself and I had called her. We had talked until the first splashes of orange began to tint the sky and we had secured the date for tonight before saying goodnight to one another.

"I told you, you would," I said gulping at my Bud light. "It seems this is the new place to hang out,"

"It sure looks that way," My brother admitted; his eyes scanning the crowd and I had a feeling that he was looking for the mystery woman from last night.

While I had babbled on about the new club in town, he had babbled in much the same way about the girl that he had found on the side of the road on his way home from the airport last night. I found his enthusiasm to be slightly infectious considering he hadn't been overly interested in women of late. After his last suspension he had been more intent on getting his career back up and running and that was his right.

I had listened, in the same manner as he listened to me talking about Brittany, to the way he had found this mystery girls attitude refreshing and how it had appeared that she had no idea of who he was. And how she confused him, one minute telling him that he shouldn't be complimenting her because she wasn't about to fall at his feet in essence and then she was complaining when he didn't pay her a compliment, her brash exterior had clearly captured his attention and now here he was looking around the crowded bar for any kind of sign of her.

"Dude if she hurt her ankle, do you really think that coming clubbing would be the first thing on her mind?" I chuckled as I downed the last of my drink.
