Chapter 20 - Welcome Home, Baby!

Midday; Matt's House;
Matt's POV;

I don't know why Jeff couldn't have just waited for the same flight as the rest of us but no he had to get back here in a hurry, to make sure that Suzie was dealing ok with having her idol hanging out at the club, when he should have known that, she seemed to find it easy to adapt and now he was mooching around the back garden clearly upset because he found Gilby at Suzie's house and from what he had said it looked like the two had gotten groiny to say the least.

I left him out back with the weed eater that he used when he was Itchweeed for The Hardy Show, but there was no sign of the fun loving character today, his head was hung low and his movements slow and precise. I did feel bad for him but Suzie was a free agent and that meant that she was perfectly within her rights to sleep with whoever she wanted too.

But I could also see Jeff's point of view; he had been there, he had been trying to help her deal and she had seemingly gone and gotten in to bed with a man who could quite possibly be worse than Shaun had ever been. Gilby Clarke wasn't known for his monogamy but we couldn't lead Suzie's life for her, all we could do was be there for her and support her should she need us.

Sighing heavily as I realized that I had to let Jeff find his own way on this one, I stepped through the French doors that led in to the kitchen and gently closed them behind me. Dumping my bag in the laundry room, I moved to my bedroom knowing that Britt was in there waiting for me.

I always seemed to manage being away all week when I knew that Brittany was waiting for me, this was, however the first time that she was waiting for me in my house, in my bed and nothing could stop the flutter in my stomach at the thought. It was only made worse when I caught her body curled under the sheets but her back bare, which told me that she was naked, while waiting for me.

Stripping out of my cloths, I slipped under the covers and slid towards her warm body; taking comfort from her as my arm snaked around her waist as my lips lightly traced along her shoulder blades. The feel of her tremble vibrated through the mattress and in to my body, making me move closer to her, taking comfort from her heat and smoothness.

"Mmmm, I have to warn you; my boyfriend is due home any minute," She purred slowly turning in my arms.

"Oh you're funny," I growled crushing my lips against her own; drawing her tongue in to my mouth as my hunger seemed to rise so quickly that I was sure that the room was suddenly spinning.

The sound and feel of her moan was more than enough to excite me as I pushed her on to her back; my body crushing her own, taking comfort from her embrace as her arms entwined around my neck; her long toned legs travelled up my sides as the kiss broke and we shared a small smile.

Brittany's POV;

Things at home were pretty heavy at the moment, with Shaun being a constant pain in everyone's ass, so it was much easier and more peaceful for me to stay here, especially when I was studying, I didn't have to worry about the constant phone-calls or the relentless ringing of the front door bell.

And of course there was the added bonus that I was here when Matt got home from being on the road, which meant that I got to see him quicker than I would have had I stayed at my place.

"I missed you big man," I whispered capturing his bottom lip between my own and kissing him so softly that he was groaning desperately.

"I-I...I missed you too beautiful," He managed to croak out as my tongue slid across his lip and darted slowly in to his mouth.

My friends had all been super impressed when they had met Matt in The Core Lounge last weekend. Matt had been charming and polite, treating me like a princess, which of course meant that he was going to win them over. They had done nothing but rave about him all week, in fact I was sure that half of them had developed crushes on him in wake of being introduced to him.
