A few Nights later;
Heather's POV;

It was the first night that we had all been at home since the club had opened and we had planned to make the most of it. Barry was out with his brother for the night, Deano was hanging out with some old school friends, Matt and Jeff were on the road and Shannon was over in Georgia for a independent wrestling gig. Gilby had left on Monday.

Barry and Deano had been a little unsure about leaving us alone in the house, but we promised that we would keep all the doors and windows closed and locked, Suzie had her baseball bat lying on the floor next to where she was lying on the sofa, so there was no need to worry about Shaun. Suzie was vicious with that thing.

Barry had headed out for pizza for us before he had left, so we were all set. Suzie had done some retail therapy during the day where she had gotten her hands on the only movie that she didn't have with Christian Kane in it, so we had all agreed that we were going to watch that.

On the coffee table was three pizza boxes, a bowl of popcorn, a bowl of candy, a large bottle of JD and a bottle of Cola, a large bottle of Gin for me, and an accompanying bottle of tonic, we were all set for a night of movies and girly talk. It really had been too long since we had done this in fact the last time we had done it was when we were all still living at our Aunt and Uncle's house.

"Have you seen this movie at all?" Britt asked looking up at Suzie from her spot on the floor.

"Yeah I've seen it! It wasn't exactly a huge budget and it was kinda slated, but I liked it..."

"And you're not at all biased?" I laughed reaching for a handful of popcorn.

"Who me? Nnnnoooooo!" She giggled softly as she reached for the smokes and threw out to me and then to Britt before lighting her own and inhaling deeply. "But seriously; its a good movie; Christian is romantic but a little creepy..."

"He plays the bad guy so well though," Britt admitted. Suzie was a huge Vampire buff, she watched anything to do with them and had been a huge Angel fan, making Britt watch it with her, that was where she had first seen Christian and it had been lust at first sight.

"That he does, but wait 'til you hear the song he sings...it's so romantic,"

"Romantic? Since when have you been about romance?" I asked shocked at her words.

Suzie wasn't what you would call a romantic, she preferred to just hang out with a guy, with Shaun there hadn't been an over abundance of romance, they were in love sure, but there was no overly mushy scenes between them in public, that was just the way Suzie was.

"Since I haven't had any in my life for the past few weeks," She sighed running her hand through her growing hair. It hadn't taken long for it to grow down past her shoulders. I never had understood what had possessed her to cut it in the first place.

"What about Gilby?"

"What about Gilby?" She asked looking across at me.

"You two seemed to be pretty tight when he was here..."

"We...he is a friend," She stumbled for a few seconds before turning silent and turning to look at the TV.

"Is that all?"

"Why wouldn't it be?" She asked not taking her eyes away from the drama on the screen, which of course meant that something had happened between them.

"'Cos you got that look that says you are hiding something,"

"Me?" She laughed with a hint of nerves in the sound causing both Britt and myself to chorus yes at her. "We kissed..."

"Aaaaahhhhhhh! Oh my God what was he like?" Britt exclaimed excitedly as she sat up and looked at our oldest sister much in the same manner as I was looking at her right now.
