Lucas' POV:

"What do you want from me?" Maya says standing there.

I take a step forward and take her hand.

She pulls away but I take it again. This time I'm pulling her against me.

My other hand touches her cheek and I kiss her on the lips.

She kisses back but then she pulls away and takes a step back.

"You asked me what I wanted, right? That! I wanted that" I say to her while looking into her eyes.

"I-I... why would you wanna kiss me?"

"Because! Don't act like you don't know about my feelings for you" I say.

"Lucas just drop the topic"

"No!"

"Yes! And now excuse me" she turns around and walks back into the classroom.

Damn. Why is she acting like this. I mean I wanted to clear things up between us but she just wouldn't listen.

Instead she keeps running away from her feelings for me.

I walk back into the class and see Riley's eyes staring at me.

"And?" She mouthed.

I shook my head and sit down into my seat.

"So what happened?" Riley asks me.

"I don't get her"

"What happened?" she asks again.

"Why is she acting like this?"

"Lucas tell me what happened now!" She said in a annoyed tone.

"Just go and ask her" I walk away then.

On my way to lunch I see Maya.

Making out with some random guy pulled against the lockers. He looks older than her.

I walk to her and cough.

She turns around and says "what?"

"Making out with some guy in the hallways, seriously?" I say raising my eyebrow.

"It's non of your business who and where I'm kissing"

The guy taps on Maya's shoulder and shakes his head. He then walks away.

"Look what you did!" She almost shouts.

"What did I do this time?" I say in a louder tone.

"He left because of you!"

"So what? I don't care. Just stop acting like someone who you're not!" I say while looking in her eyes.

"What's that supposed to mean?"

"You know exactly what I mean! I'm done with this shit. Congratulations Maya. You got what you wanted" I say pissed and walk into the lunch room.

Letting Maya alone in the hallways.
