Chapter 3

Lucas' POV:

It's been two weeks after I told Maya that I'm not longer friends with her. I haven't seen her since then. Nobody has. I don't even think Riley.

"Hey" I say.

"What?" Riley asks.

"Why are you ignoring me?" I ask.

"Haha Lucas. You know exactly why" she says and leaves.

She probably thinks that I'm the reason why Maya left.

I have gym class now. I see Ryan. Maybe he knows something about Maya. They always talked to eachother in history.

"Hey dude" I say.

"Hi, what's up?" Ryan says.

"I was wondering if you know what is up with Maya. Nobody saw her for 2 weeks and you talked to her sometimes" I say.

"I don't know where she is. She was a bitch anyway"

Oh no he didn't. Nobody calls her a bitch. I push him against the wall and try not punch him or something.

"Say that again" I yell.

"Dude, let me go. I thought you didn't like her." he says shocked.

Well. She's my friend... Okay she was my friend. But still!

"I don't but you can't just call her a bitch" I say angry.

"You're so funny. You called her that 2 weeks ago, remember? The day she left" Ryan smiles.

Wait what? Oh shit. He's right. Why did I say that to her.

"Oh shut up Ryan." I yell and push him harder against the wall.

"You know it's true. You're the reason why she left" he says.

I let him go. I need to think. Am I really the reason? I don't know anymore.

I walk out of gym class and hear the teacher yell behind me "Lucas Friar, where do you think you're going?"

I ignore it and leave.
