Chapter 26

Lucas' POV:

We release the kiss and just stare into each others eyes.

Her eyes. So beautiful. Blue like the ocean.

"So you forgive me?" She says with hope in her voice.

I nod while smiling at her.

She starts to smile real big. It's the most beautiful smile I've ever seen.

I pull her close to me and wrap my arms around her. Her head against my chest. She hugs back and I kiss her forehead.

"OH MY GOD! THIS IS THE CUTEST THING EVER!!" I hear a female voice shouting.

Maya and I pull away and turn around.

It's Riley. She is jumping up and down.

"FINALLY" she runs to us and gives us hugs.

We share a laugh. Riley is such a fangirl but I'm glad I have a friend like her.

She gave me hope this whole time. Gave me hope not to give up on Maya. I can't thank her enough.

Maya takes my hand which causes me to smile.

"Thanks to you Riley" I say.

Maya looks at me and smiles. "Yea thanks for being here for us"

"You're so welcome!!" she says. Yea you can tell that she's really excited.

Then I see Farkle come our way. "What's this all about?"

Riley turns around and runs to Farkle.

"OMG FARKLE! Can you believe it?? Lucas and Maya are together now!! Isn't this great?"

He laughs while she hugs him.

"So you two are a thing now?" Farkle smirks.

I look at maya and she looks at me.

"Yea" we say at the same time.

"YAY" Riley shouts.

"Oh my god, Riles" Maya laughs.

"Yea only you two are left now" I smirk.

"What do you mean?" Riley asks.

"You two totally have a crush on each other!" Maya says.

I point at her and say "she knows it"

Farkle and Riley blush.
