Third Person's POV:

Gaby, Hawk, Aisha, and Miguel were stretching together while Mr. Kreese was telling them about his war experience.

"You gotta understand that Mogadishu in the '90s was a hellhole. Warlords controlled whole swaths of the city. My team and I were charged with cleaning the place up," Mr. Kreese said.

"How many warlords did you kill?" Hawk asked.

"You keep track of every ant you stomp on?" Mr. Kreese asked.

"Whoa," Aisha said as Hawk said, "Bada**."

"They were out-gunned, we were out-manned. I tell you... Rwanda was no joke," Mr. Kreese said.

"Don't you mean Somalia? Mogadishu is in Somalia, Rwanda is a whole different country," Miguel said.

"Of course, Somalia. I've spent so much time in the sandbox that it all kind of bleeds together, you know?" Mr. Kreese said.

"I mean, yeah, it makes sense. I don't think I'd remember all of that after 30 years," Gaby said, trying to give Mr. Kreese the benefit of the doubt.

"Listen up! I see we've got some new recruits," Sensei said as he came out of his office, "Everybody fall in. In neat rows and lines. Time to see what you're made of."

Sensei walked around the dojo, looking at the new recruits, "Straighten up, ginger twins."

Sensei noticed a grown man standing amongst the students and said, "Sorry, parents can't stay for class. It's an insurance thing."

The man looked at Sensei and said, "I'm not a dad. I... I am here to kick some ass, sir!"

Sensei furrowed his eyebrows and said, "Do I know you from somewhere?"

"Oh, yeah. The um... I sold you the mirror. We kind of bonded, talked about rock bands," the man said.

"Look, you're a little old. This is a class for teenagers," Sensei said.

"Well, I... I can take them. I'm not afraid of kids, sir. And my mom, she doesn't charge me rent, so I just... I've got a lot of cash to burn," The man said, taking out some money turning the last part.

Sensei took the money, "Yeah, we'll consider this a trial run," he said before walking to the front of the class.

"I thought my last group of recruits was pathetic. But if you do what I tell you to do, you'll at least have a chance of becoming a fighter. But to do that, you gotta fight. So, which one of you has the balls to take on the champ?" Sensei asked.

After a moment of dead silence, a girl from the back of the class said, "I'll take him on."

"Oh you will, huh?" Sensei asked.

"I saw your little demo at Valley Fest. You guys can put on a show. Can you actually fight?"

"That sounds like a challenge," Sensei said.

"I like a challenge," the girl replied.

"Mr. Diaz, show little Miss Hotshot here what Cobra Kai is all about," Sensei said as all of the other students backed, giving the girl and Miguel space to fight.

Miguel sighed, "Look, are you sure that you want to do--" he said before getting kicked in the stomach by the girl.

"Alright, game on," Miguel said.

"Close the gap," Miguel said as they fought.

"You're telegraphing. Don't let me see it coming."
