Third Person's POV:
Gaby is at her locker getting her things for first period, when she notices Miguel.
She walks up to him and says, "Hey, what's up."
"Hey, not much. Just trying to find my class," he says after turning to face her.
"Let me see," he hands her his schedule.
"Holy sh*t, we have all our classes together!" Gaby says excitedly.
"Really, cool!" Miguel smiles at her.
"Come on," Gaby says as she lead him to their first period class.

As the lunch bell rings, Gaby and Miguel grab their things and head to their lockers.
After putting away their books, they head to the cafeteria.
"Hey, I'm not really that hungry, so I'm going to go sit with some friends. Feel free to join us once you get your food," Gaby says before walking away.
She head over to the table where two boys are sitting.
"Hey guys," she says as she sits down.
"Hey," they both reply while smiling.
"So there's a new kid named Miguel, we met a few days ago and I invited him to sit with us. Is that cool?"
Eli nods while Demetri shrugs his shoulders, "Sure."
Gaby sees Miguel looking around with his lunch tray in hand, so she waves at him to sit with them.
As he walks over, he looks at Demetri and Eli and asks, "Is it cool if I sit here?"
Without skipping a beat Demetri replies, "Sorry, tables really blowing up right now. I can put you on the waitlist, but it's probably next semester at the earliest."
Miguel looks kinda sad and confused and says, "Okay."
"No silly, he's kidding. Sit," Gaby says.
Miguel sits down and says, "Miguel."
"We know, Gaby told us you were coming. I'm Demetri, this is Eli," he said the last part pointing at Eli.
When all Eli does is nod, Gaby says, "He's a man a few words."
Just then Yasmine and Sam walk by their table, cause Miguel and Gaby to look at them.
"Dude, don't torture yourself. Those are the rich girls," Demetri says to Miguel.
"Do you ever talk to them or..."
"Oh yeah! All the time. We hang out after school, make out, give each other hand jobs," Demetri begins, making Gaby let out a little laugh.
"Eli here is the homecoming king. Gets laid more than anyone. Isn't that right, Eli?" Demetri continues, this causes Eli to smile at him.
Demetri face Miguel, "Talk to them? You realize what table your sitting at, right? You've pretty much signed away all hopes of losing your virginity before college."
Eli then notices Yasmine looking their way, "Oh sh*t, Yasmine's looking at us. She's probably just making fun of me."
Gaby grabs Eli's hand and smiles at him.
"I don't think she's making fun of you. I mean, just because they're hot doesn't mean they're mean," Miguel says.
"I don't care if Yasmine's the meanest girl in school. I'd kill all three of you just to get her to spit in my face."
"If you don't make a move, you'll never have a shot with her," Miguel says.
"True, buy I'll also never suffer a humiliating rejection. I'm at peace with my depression. The last thing I need is to be suicidal," Demetri replied.
"Ain't that the truth," Gaby comments while stealing a piece of Demetri's food.
Miguel then stands up, "what are you doing?" She asks him.
"Striking first"
"Oh sh*t. Hope we don't get hit with the shrapnel," Demetri comments.
Miguel walks towards Sam's table, until Kyler and his friends sit there first.
When Miguel comes back Demetri asks, "So, how'd it go?"
"Come on Demi, cut him some slack," Gaby says feeling bad for Miguel.

After school, Gaby and Miguel walked home.
"Hey, do you remember that blond guy from a few days ago?" Miguel asks.
"Our neighbor?"
"Yeah, his name is Johnny Lawrence. He agreed to teach me karate, and I was wondering if you wanted to join," Miguel says.
'Why is that name familiar?' (btw when words or sentences are like 'this', it means that they're Gaby's thoughts.)
"That's really great, and I'd love to but I don't really have enough money for it right now," Gaby replied.
"That's okay, I understand. Do you maybe want to hang out later? I should be done with my karate lessons by 8:00 pm latest," Miguel says.
"Sure, I'd love to," Gaby smiles.
They walk together until they have to split ways, Miguel going to the mini mall, and Gaby going home.
