Third Person's POV:

Robby and Gaby were teaching the rest of the Cobra Kai students the Miyagi-Do moves, when Robby said, "There's a reason Miyagi-Do is difficult to learn. These blocks are incredibly precise."

"Each one is designed to overcome a specific attack," Gaby continued before walking up to Tory and saying, "Show me wax on, wax off."

Tory nodded and proceeded to perfectly block Gaby's punches. She smiled at her girlfriend before walking to another student and doing the same.

While Gaby did that, Robby continued with his lecture, "The more you learn Miyagi-Do, the tougher you are to defeat."

"Except for one tiny flaw," Sensei Kreese said as he stepped out of his office. "Their entire style is reactive, which means all their moves are counter moves. That means that we are in control. And we can use that to set traps."

Gaby went back to Tory and said, "Show me paint the fence."

Tory successfully blocked the punches, but instead of stopping there, she swept Gaby's legs and would've punched her in the face if Gaby hadn't caught her hand.

"Enough! Nichols, come to my office; the rest of you are dismissed." Sensei said before he and Tory left the main dojo area.

Gaby got up off the mat and Robby asked, "Are you okay?"

"Yeah, I'm fine, but she's definitely not. She's never done that before," Gaby said in concern.

"Are you gonna stay here and talk to her?" Robby asked as he grabbed his duffle bag.

"I wish I could, but I have ballet practice in 15 minutes. I'll probably call her during one of my water breaks," Gaby answered while grabbing her own bag.

"Wait, 15 minutes? How the hell are you gonna get there on time?" Robby asked.

"Well, the studio isn't far and they give us like 10-15 minutes before class to shower if we need to, so I just show up in my gi and get ready there," Gaby explained.

Robby nodded, "Alright, well, you should probably get going; I'll tell her where you went. See you tomorrow."

"Okay, bye Robby," Gaby said back before leaving the dojo.

Gaby was stretching with her fellow dancers while the instructor spoke, "As you guys know, our Nutcracker performance is next week, so from now on you're going to be performing the dances full out; that means no marking, I want you all to pretend that you're performing for a real audience. You all have an hour and a half to practice and work on anything you guys are struggling with. After that, we'll go through the entire ballet, does everyone understand?"

"Yes, sir," all of the dancers replied.

"Good, get started."

Gaby walked up to Alex, her partner, who was talking to Noah and Lily, their understudies.

"Hey guys," she greeted.

"Hey, I was just telling Noah and lily that we were having some trouble with the adagio," Alex explained.

"Yeah, and since Lily and I have already perfected that part, we figured we could help you guys through it," Noah continued.

"And then you two could help us with the coda, since we're not done with that part," Lily finished.

Gaby nodded, "Okay, that sounds like a plan."

For the next hour and fifteen minutes the two pairs practiced their dances and gave each other tips on how to do them correctly.

After they were all able to perform the pas de deux with without messing up, Gaby walked into the locker room and grabbed her phone and water bottle from her bag.

She sat down on one of the benches and after a few sips of water, decided to call Tory and ask her what was bothering her earlier.

"Hey, what's up?" Tory asked once she answered the phone.

"Hey, I just wanted to make sure you're okay. I didn't get to ask you after training," Gaby replied.

"I'm fine, babe, don't worry about it," Tory reassured.

"I'm your girlfriend, it's my job to worry about you. Tell me what happened."

Tory sighed before confessing, "Samantha LaRusso's mom showed up at my job and I got fired."

"She got you fired? What the f*ck is wrong with her!" Gaby exclaimed.

"It's not entirely her fault, this guy was bothering me and I raised my voice at him," Tory said.

"It doesn't matter, she's an adult and it's extremely immature of her to show up at your job," Gaby responded angrily.

"I know, but it's late and I don't want to be upset right now," Tory said, her voice sounding tired.

"I'm sorry, it just sucks that they can get away with being a**holes," Gaby said.

"I know, but why don't we talk about what you're doing," Tory suggests, trying to change the subject.

"Okay, well I just finished practicing my part of the nutcracker."

"Right, you said you're doing the sugar plum pas de deux. You're performing it next week, aren't you?" Tory asked.

Gaby smiled, "Yeah, you remembered."

"Of course I remembered," Tory replied, smiling on her end.

~Time Skip~

Gaby and Alex were waiting backstage, five minutes before they were supposed to go on stage when Gaby got a call from Tory.

"Hey, babe," Gaby greeted.

"Hey, I just wanted to wish you good luck. I'm watching it live on my tv," Tory said.

"Are Brandon and your mom sleeping?" Gaby asked.

"Yeah, I just put him to bed," Tory answered before sighing, "I just wish I could be there to support you."

"You don't need to be with me physically to support me, and I never want you to feel like you have to put me before your mom," Gaby said.

"Thank you for understanding, I love you."

"I love you too, but I have to go," Gaby said.

"Good luck, bye."

"Bye," Gaby said before ending the call.

"Are you ready?" Alex asked.

Gaby nodded, "As ready as I'll ever be."

The two dancers walked onto the the stage and got into their positions before the music began to play.

(A/N: This is the dance that Gaby and Alex are performing. It's 13 minutes long, so I don't expect you all to watch it; but I encourage you to because it's a very beautiful dance)
