Third Person's POV:

It's been about a month since Gaby's Nutcracker performance, and she was in the dojo.

She and the rest of the Cobra Kai students were practicing their punches when they heard someone walk into the dojo.

Gaby turned her head to see who it was and saw a young black kid.

'He can't be more than 12 or 13 years old,' Gaby thought before Sensei Kreese asked, "Can I help you?"

"I-I'm looking for Robby Keene," he replied nervously.

"Mr. Keene," Sensei called, "You have a visitor."

Robby looked over at the kid confused and Gaby asked, "Do you know this kid?"

"I-I'm Kenny. My brother, Shawn Payne said you could help me," the kid responded

Robby nodded, "I didn't know Shawn had a brother. Is he out?"

"No, that's why I'm here. These a-holes keep harassing me. One of them knows karate, so-" Kenny explained before getting cut off by Sensei.

"This is a dojo. You are interrupting my class."

Kenny's eyes widen, "I'm sorry, I didn't know."

"Sensei," Robby said firmly, drawing everyone's attention. "Shawn Payne was one of the toughest guys in juvie. He kicked my a** a few times."

Sensei nodded and looked at Kenny, "You know, in the real world we have to fight our own battles. Cobra Kai can teach you how, but you have to prove that you're worthy."

"How do I do that?"

"Take your shoes off and get on the mat," Sensei said before turning to his students, "You guys take a seat."

They say down along the edges of the mat, Gaby, Tory, and Robby sitting next to each other.

"Alright, Mr. Payne, let's see what you've got," Sensei said, "Mr. Park."

Kyler stood up and walked onto the mat, standing in front of Kenny.

"But h-how am I supposed to fight if I haven't had any training yet?" Kenny asked.

"To be a Cobra Kai, you have to have a killer instinct," Sensei answered, "Fighting positions."

"Don't worry, man. I'll go easy on you," Kyler falsely reassured.

"Aits!" Sensei yelled before Kyler lunged at Kenny, making him run backward in fear.

Gaby looked towards Robby when the Cobra Kais started laughing at Kenny and saw that his face looked sympathetic.

"Come back on the mat. Grow some pubes. Let's go," Kyler said, faking encouragement.

"It's all right, Mr. Payne. Try again," Sensei said.

The boys got into their fighting positions and Sensei yelled, "Aits!"

Gaby chuckled when Kenny ran away from Kyler's attack again, but stopped when she noticed Robby's disappointed face.

"Alright, I've seen enough," Sensei said and Kyler joked, "Yeah, me too."

"What's so funny?" Sensei asked sternly, causing everyone to stop laughing.

"The All Valley is only four months away. We don't have time for losers or cowards," Sensei lectured before Kenny dejectedly left the dojo.

"Everyone else, training is over. You all did good today, but I want better than good tomorrow."

"Yes, Sensei," the Cobra Kais said before standing up and walking to the locker room.

"You know, he's not your responsibility," Gaby said as she and Robby walked.
