Third Person's POV:

The Cobra Kai students were standing in a circle while Sensei lectured them.

"Never underestimate your enemy. Even if you think they're weaker than you, you always have to stay one step ahead of them. That's the only way to guarantee a victory. Is that understood?" Sensei asked.

"Yes, Sensei!" The students shouted.

"Good, now let's see if you truly understand the lesson. I want you to kick the tree off of the top," Sensei said as he pointed to the large wooded pole with a bonsai tree on top of it.

"Red, you start."

Red nodded and walked up to the pole. He attempted to kick the bonsai tree, but ended up tearing his gi and falling down instead.

Sensei looked down at him with disgust, "Pathetic," he said before looking at another student, "Rickenberger, show him."

Rickenberger ran up to the pole and tried to kick the bonsai tree, only to miss and fall on the floor, landing on his side.

"Stop your sniveling," Sensei said as Rickenberger held his arm and whimpered before standing up and walking back to his spot.

Gaby smirked, "I can do it, Sensei."

"Then what are you waiting for?" Sensei asked rhetorically.

Gaby walked up to the pole and Sensei asked, "Don't you want a running start?"

Gaby shook her head, "Don't need one," she said before kicking the pole, effectively knocking the bonsai and the pole down.

Sensei chuckled, "Not bad. Not bad at all."

Gaby bowed and walked back to her spot.

"But she cheated," Rickenberger protested.

"No, she didn't. Unlike you, she did exactly what I asked her to do. If your mind is agile, so are you. That's the best way to beat your enemy. Not just with brute strength. But you have to fight smart. Do that, and you'll always come out on top. You're dismissed," Sensei said.

A few days later at school, Gaby and few other Cobra Kai students were sitting together during their lunch.

Red was recording Hawk as he kicked a ball without letting it touch the floor.

"22 in a row. New record..." Hawk trailed off, staring at someone.

Gaby followed his gaze to Demetri, who was talking to Yasmin about a project that was sitting on the table.

"This thing is a masterpiece. I mean, everything is to scale. And at 8,251 individual pieces this meticulously assembled model represents the exact moment before the asteroid hit-" Demetri said before Hawk threw his ball at the project, startling all of the students in the lunch room.

Gaby and the rest of the Cobra Kai students laughed as Hawk walked up to Demetri, "Sorry man, I guess my ball just got away from me."

Demetri gritted his teeth, "That took me three weeks to build."

"Well, it took his ball three seconds to destroy it," Gaby chuckled as she walked up to them.

"Another week, another pissing contest. Although I shouldn't be surprised since you love pissing so much," Demetri said.

Gaby rolled her eyes, "Really Demetri, is that all you got? You landed one kick, and if I remember right, I beat the sh*t out of you after."
