Third Person's POV:
As Gaby was grabbing her books from her locker, she spotted Miguel at his locker and ran over to him.
"Hey, are you okay? You had me really worried," Gaby said once she got to him.
He turned around to face her and said, "Uh, yeah. It hurts, but it looks worse than it is."
"Are you sure you're okay?"
"Don't worry about me, I'm fine. Let's head to the library, I'm sure Demetri and Eli are already waiting for us."
"Okay," Gaby said before they made their way to the library.
Once they got there, they sat down and started to study.
"Hey Miguel, do you want to hang out today after your karate lesson?" Gaby asked
"Actually, my mom said I can't take karate anymore."
"Really, why?"
Miguel just points at his face.
"That doesn't make sense, Kyler's just going to keep beating on you. It's better to be able to defend yourself," Gaby said
"I don't Gaby, I think it's probably for the best. It was starting to boost his confidence," Demetri said.
"Isn't that a good thing?" Miguel and Gaby asked at the same time.
"No. What has confidence ever gotten anybody except for a black eye and their backpack thrown in the trash?"
"Well, I thought it was kind of cool how you stood up to Kyler," Eli said shyly.
"Are you insane? Let me ask you. What is the best superpower anybody could have?" Demetri asked
"Super strength," Miguel replied.
"Super intelligence," Gaby replied right after Miguel.
"Wrong. Invisibility. A distant second would be super speed to run away fast."
"Run away from who?" Kyler asked, sneaking up on them.
"'Whom'. It's the object of a preposition. Remember English class?" one of Kyler's friends said.
"We were just leaving," Miguel said.
"Hey, where you going? Oh, look at this freak," Kyler said while holding onto Eli's face.
"Oh sh*t! What kind of girl would ever kiss this sh*t?"
"Leave us alone Kyler," Gaby said, "now!".
Kyler pushes Eli out of the way, who then gets dragged out of the library by Demetri.
Kyler walked up to Gaby, and pushed her, "What are you gonna do about it?"
Gaby pushes him back, "Get hell out of my face."
"That's it," he says before punching her in the face.
