Dark lit room, a young man is sitting hunched over a desk working fiercely on what looks like a big piece of artwork, paint splattered all over, and a multitude of colors thrown at the paper to create this masterpiece. The young lad is like Dr. Frankenstein—constructing this piece to give it new life. He chucks paintbrushes behind him. Paint flies in the air and the theatergoers watch his process of making his art. Electric sparks fly from an open outlet, making the audience jump. The boy pops out of his seat and screams, "It's finished!" He turns around and shows the audience his piece of artwork

JayRyan and Janet decide to do a spoken word mic night at their local coffee shop. They have been working on this poem for a very long time. Janet suggested they do a spoken word piece to get comfortable standing on stage since they are going to be circus performers.
Borderline
Janet starts the poem: Borderline
I'm fine
But I'm not really fine
Lie to avoid explaining
The millions of emotions
That burn inside, set aflame
JayRyan follows with:
Confused on how to feel and deal
Never processing despair
Too busy to sit with them,
Care for them validate them
Be strong and push through the day
Too exhausted to exert excitement
For the good days
Reliving the bad over and over in my head, trying to fix it
