Chapter 5 Bullying

Silently agreeing to stay for the experience for safety reasons, of course, the Harriet's have settled into their seats waiting to see what is next.

The Ringmaster pops into the middle of the stage. "Señors and señoritas, I want to welcome Janet to the stage for a public service announcement."

A petite, curvaceous woman with long blonde curls appears on stage.

"Good evening patrons of this great show. I am Janet. Here at Planet Janet, we are a safe place for people to come and enjoy themselves without being afraid. I am here to make sure everyone is having a good time. We do not condone bullying, harassment, fighting, abuse, or judgment. We do not tolerate this type of behavior and will be asking folks to leave if necessary. I am forewarning you, the next performance is not what we stand for and viewer discretion is advised. Now I will turn the stage back over to the ringmaster."

Janet walks off the stage.

"Why would we watch it then?" Monica asked, confused.

"Don't ask. It's all about the experience of the show," a patron of the audience answers.

Monica does not get a chance to respond before the ringmaster is speaking again.

"Tonight we are going to witness the most anticipated match in history. All right audience.... Let's get ready to rumble," Ringmaster announces as if he is the next Michael Buffer, UFC announcer. "Just kidding fabulous ladies and gents. I am actually here to present Johnny Godzeera to the stage. He is four hundred and fifty pounds and going to be the next hottest sumo wrestler!" Ringmaster announces loudly.

The audience claps as Johnny Godzeera comes bumbling out from the side of the stage nearly tripping over himself. He finally makes it to the spotlight without toppling over. He smiles shyly and says, "Hi, I'm Johnny Godzeera..."

"Where is that loser?" A male voice is heard yelling in the background. Johnny Godzeera shakes his head as he looks at the floor. He knows this is going to be a disaster. The audience is silent, intensely watching.

Ringmaster says exhaustedly, eyes rolling, "Oh, no not again. Everyone, here is the other sumo wrestler, Shep Izded."

"Oh, there you are, you fat fuck!" Shep, body of a linebacker with a nasty attitude, comes out yelling, as he steps into the spotlight next to Johnny.

"I told you not to call me that!" Johnny grinds his teeth, becoming angry.

"Does it look like I give a damn, you worthless pig?"

"Damn it Shep, I am not a worthless pig!" Johnny roars.

"You're right. You are worse than that. You're so disgusting that your friends hate, and pity you because you're so fat and ugly."

"BOOOO!" someone from the crowd yells.

"My friends don't hate me." Johnny says through his teeth.

"Do you think they would like someone as dumb as you?" Shep says nastily and arrogantly.

"Fuck off Shep," Johnny says exhaustedly. He just wants to show off his sumo skills he learned but this demon monster known as Shep crushes Johnny's spirit.

"Why would I lie huh? Where are they now Godzilla?"

"Shut up!" Johnny's face is all red, furious that he has to deal with this shit again.

"Is that all you got fat, boy?" Shep asks.

By this point, Johnny is over this nonsense and starts walking past Shep, and he sticks his foot out purposely tripping Johnny, making him fall to the ground. The audience gasps loudly, nervousness arises, and they want to make sure Johnny is okay. The Harriet's are appalled that they are letting this happen.
