*Katniss POV*

"Look Katniss, you need to start or you and this baby could both die!" Dr.Cullet says firmly.

"Fine. I'm ready!" Then I push. And push, and push, and push. But still after about 15 pushes later,  I can feel that the baby hasn't moved an inch. Then I start crying.

I turn to Gale for comfort,"Gale I can't do this..."

"Catnip you got this. You've done this before. Just listen to your body." He says wiping my sweat off with a towel.

A nurse in the room suggest that I get into another position. By the next two mintues I am kneeling on the floor with cushion like pads under my hands knees and lower body.

This does seem more effective as soon as my next contraction comes. But soon after I feel a sharp pain in my pelvis.

'Katniss stop pushing!" All the medical staff in the room say.

"Why!" I ask.

"We need to get you back in the bed let's go." Every one helps to get me back in the bed.

"What's wrong!'' Gale and I yell.

"The baby's shoulder is stuck."

*Peeta POV*

I finally reach the hospital, park the cars run through the doors, Painfully wait the thirty seconds in the elevator, and to the reception desk.

"Um... Ugh K-Katniss Everdeen. Oh my gosh Mellark! Katniss Mellark!"

''Mr.Mellark is already in the room visitors need to wait in the waiting room." The receptionist says.

"I'm Mr.Mellark!" I yell.

I hear a woman yell out. Its Katniss' I know its hers. I run past the desk a and into the room were I think think Katniss is. And I am right.

*Katniss POV*

The room door flings open. Its Peeta!

"Peeta!" I yell

"Katniss." We are in a long embrace until a contraction comes.

"Can I push now?!"

"Yes, let's try this position again." The doctor says.

I push and push and push. Wait, then repeat the tedious task. This is nothing like Willows birth. Her's was more calm and less painful. This one is out of control and very painful.

But evenutually my world slows down just like last time, and I hear a cry and the doctor say 7:19 and the date November 23.

But unlike last time my world goes pitch black.
