Boy or Girl?

After Peeta and I fall asleep, but later we wake to Willow around 6. She told us her stomach was hurting, so he just says that she must be hungry so he gets up and makes eggs and toast. And gives her her medicine.

I am just walking out of the bathroom when I see Annie staring back right at me.

"Ahh! Annie hi."

"Boy or girl?" She says.

"What?"

"Is it a boy or girl." She repeats.

"To be honest Annie there us a lot of things I don't know about my baby." She just stares at me." I don't know yet."

"Dr.Black he can help you. She helped me when I was pregnant with Finn."

"Umm sure..."

"30 minuets Katniss. Be ready." She turns and disappears into her room.

I walk into the kitchen and see Willow eating and Peeta still at the stove. And I let out a groan.

"Babe you okay." He asks not looking up.

"Ya. She is just kicking." I say.

"You said the same thing last night. What makes you think its a girl. It could be a boy, you know."

"I know. I just think its another girl."

"I think think its a boy too daddy." Willow adds.

"Okay, thanks baby." He chuckles.

Annie comes out in a yellow sundress."Ready?"

"Where are you two going?"

"Doctors.We will see you later." I turn to willow in the dining area." I'll be back baby." I kiss her but when I turn to go out Peeta blocks the door.

"I know what your doing." He says.

"What taking Delly to the doctors?"

"No Katniss. She is taking you."

"Peeta-"

"Katniss I'm going with you. And I mean it." He firmly says.

"I want to go alone, with Annie."

"No. Katniss it could be my baby too!"

"Fine. But when you come you will listen and shut up." I say annoyed.  I know I shouldn't be mad, but I can't help it.

The clinic ended up being in walking distance. We sit down sign in and I am soon called back. Annie stays behind.

"Hi doctor." I say.

"Oh my gosh! Your Katniss Everdeen and Peeta Mellark! I was in 15 when you changed the world. Thank you!"

Its always awkward for me when someone says things like that. I don't really like the extra attention.

"Uh thanks, but I go by mellark now...  I'm mean your welcome..." I stutter.

"Your welcome. We just want to find out the sex of my baby please." Peeta says.

She says okay and tries to his her smile, but ultimately fails. She spreads blue gel on my stomach, and its freezing cold. I shiver. Peeta holds my hand.

It takes a while for him to get our baby up on the screen. It looked way bigger that he did the last time.

Peeta and I stare in awe at the screen. Just enjoying the moment of seeing maybe our baby.

"What is it?" Peeta asks.

The doctor looks closely at his moniter screen."Girl. See-"

"Ha! I am right." I say.

"Wait no. Its a boy, his thing was hiding from me." He jokes.

"I was right." Peeta wispers. I laugh. Then the screen gets fuzzy.

"What's happening?" Peeta asks.

"Nothing major, Katniss is just moving. It will clear up when she stops."

"Babe, stop moving!" He jokes only making me laugh more.

"Would you like to hear his heart beat?"

"Yes!" Peeta and I see at the same time.

We hear his heart beat. It reminds me of Peeta's. Strong, steady, and calming.

Possibly my mini boy with the bread.
