It took Delly quite some time to convince me but she eventually gets me to agree. Delly calls her babysitter who is ironically Nurse Iyana.
Nurse Iyana and I talked for a bit, while Delly went to get dressed. When she came out she had makeup on and a very slim short red dress that had a deep v-neck revealing her 'goods' with black heels.
"Iyana, Katniss, what do you think?!" She says exitedly. I originally thought that a night out ment a massage or a manicure, put its clear now that she has other plans.
Iyana and I both clap and say she looks sexy. And then Delly pulls me into her room and it is a mess.
She trys what feels like thousands of dresses on me. I feel like I'm back in the capitol being dressed for the interviews before the games.
We eventually settle on a little black dress. Its similar to Delly's except for the deep v-neck. I wanted to avoid a dress that showed the countless scars on my chest and back.
The dress goes straight across my chest and goes just above my knees. It also has slits that go down that starts from my under arm and ends just before the dress does, and I am paired with white heels.
Delly says bye to her kids and just before we are out of the house Willow screams out for me. I didn't even notice that she woke up.
"Baby why are you crying?"
"Dont leave me! Mommy!Please don't leave. Moommyy!" She sobbs
"Baby, listen, Daddy will come pick you up.Okay? I'll be back. Baby I'll see you at midnight."
"NO! MOMMY!" She cries hysterically. I turn and see Delly give a look to Nurse Iyana, she picks up my baby and then Willow goes wild. And I I do is painfully watch. Delly has to shut the door so I can finally move from my place.
We get in her car at 8pm and drive off. And we pass the Victor's Village.
"Uhh, Delly I thought we were going to leave a note for Peeta when he gets home?"
"Peeta who? I don't know any male's staring now. Its girls night, not where are the guys so we can leave a note night." She jokes.
"Okay..." I still can't stop thinking about it. And willow, I just feel so guilty for leaving her. I guess I show how I feel because Delly reassures me that willow will be fine.
She tells me that we are going to the captiol. And I almost scream at her, but she says that we aren't going to the heart of the capitol; we are going to a place once named:
Las Vegas.
