*Katniss POV*
"NOO!" I scream at the nurse,"TELL ME YOU ARE JOKING!"
"No" he starts. I look at the sinister smile on his face, as he enjoys my pain."Get out." I hiss at him. Then I fade into sobs that can not be eased by anyone. Not Peeta and especially not Gale. I hate him...He ruined my family, my life, and almost my marrige many times.
My cries are now so loud that many people have come in basically telling me to shut up and that other people are complaining. They take the baby and say that he will just be in a nursery until im stable. I try to stop but I can't. It takes two total sedation shots to get me to calm down.
The medication makes my eyes heavily droop, But I don't want to sleep. I don't even want to think about all of the possible nightmares I could have after this. So I just lay in bed, zoned out, numb from all feelings, staring at the mint green walls.
I think now I can finally understand Annie's methods of zoning out. Because the pain of reality is to much to take. All of the evil things she has been through, she has handled by not existing in the real world.
Maybe I should try it too.
*Peeta POV*
After everyone was forced out of Katniss' room Gale and I finally get a chance to talk. Everything about him screamed embarrassment.
"Congratulations Gale. Its a boy." I say sarcastically.
"Peeta."
"No. Just-" I stand tall with my hands balled up into a tight fist.
"Look, I didn't want any of this to happen!" He groans.
"Well it did Gale! You got my wife pregnant!" Everybody in the waiting room us stares at us. Some smirks, but mostly everybody is shocked.
"Look I'm sorry what do you want me to say?" That's it. The way he seems too concerned with his own thoughts. After he said that I feel my blood boil. My head starts to feel hurt and feel foggy. I am losing control. I try to calm down or find a place to go...
*Gale POV*
"Peeta?" His face is blank for awhile but quickly replaced with anger after I say his name.He jumps at me and throws a punch in the center of my face. I was going to hit back, but I realized that this isn't him.
Some people call for security. Gards come and try to pull him off but it takes 6 of them. Everyone in the waiting room has run out and nurses and doctors come in.
They give him sedation shots and is down in seconds. And I am taken to the ER.
