The Annual Snowflake Ball was coming up and I was so excited. I sat in the courtyard with Blair and Serena.
"B, I have other things to do today." Serena huffed
"Serena, this is the holiday event of the season. The creme de la creme will be there. Pictures dominate society pages through the new year and I need a ringer" I took her clipboard
"Have all of these guys asked you?" I wonder
"Of course. You think Angelina Jolie considers a project without an offer?" Blair replied taking it back from me
"This is a date not a film project. really Blair." I shook my head
"Just out of curiosity who's in the lead to play 'guy with no future'?" my brother questioned "Sister." he kissed my head and sat down next to me.
"What makes you think I'm not looking for something long term?" I rolled my eyes, these two together were so annoying.
"Call it a hunch?"
"Keith Nelson." Blair answered
"Are you kidding? Have you ever seen him without gum? Oral fixation would drive you insane" Chuck dismissed him, since when was he for getting involved in Blair's dating life.
"Andy Clark."
"Out scored you on the SATs" Chuck shook his head and I huffed out a breath, why just why
"I like an intelligent man."
"And I am leaving, I have my last fitting for the snowflake ball. Brother. Best friend." I grab my things and walk away.
I knock on the Humphrey's for and walk in. Vanessa and jenny were there talking they turned to me when I entered.
"Jenny, Hey V." I greet the two
"Hey." V nods at me
"Is it time for your fitting already. I lost track of time. There is a garment bag in my room, you can change in there."
"Okay." I went into her room and changed. When I came out Vanessa was gone and Penelope was there. I missed a lot in the short time of changing.
"Jenny, it's beautiful. I... Penelope, did the cat drag you in." I smirk
"Rosalie, what a beautiful dress." she fake smiled
"Jenny original. Did you come for one as well." she looked put out "Oh were you thinking the same thing. Don't worry I'm sure you can pull of something pretty. Anything Jenny can make can turn a sours ear into a silk purse."
"Um follow me. I have a dress that you might like but could be changed." she showed Penelope to her room and left her to get changed
"Here stand on this" Jenny brought out a podium and I did so. " You look amazing, thank you for asking me to design you this." Jenny looked at her work
"I knew you were up to the task, hows being back here?" I wondered about he return to the family apartment.
"Okay, I'm just trying to not think about how much future is swirling down the hole. Making this is a nice distraction. I think you should wear your hair back with a few strings of hair at the front. Oh and a dark red lip. Dark lip suits you." she suggested
"Thanks Jenny."
"Well it's not entirely awful, we need to change some things, though." Penelope came out. "So tell me whatever happened between you and Nate?" Penelope wondered
"I'm sorry?"
"Please your kiss was all over Gossip girl. As well as Rosalie, punching him. He was living here wasn't he?" Penelope questioned the young girl.
"Uh-heh." she stammers while fiddling with my dress "Yeah, for a little bit. Why do you care?"
"Well, now that the Archibald name is on the rebound. I was thinking asking Nate to the ball." I started laughing
"Like he'd ever go with you. He'd go with a Cinderella not an evil step sister." I joked, she had been wanting him for years, curly because being an Archibald was a powerful thing well sort of.
"Rosie, that's mean."
"So what's the story?" Penelope questioned
"Nothing. Nothing even happened between us, so..
"I wouldn't beat yourself up about it. It was doomed from the start. I mean he's upper east side and well you're here." our phones beeped and we went to see what was going on.
"You have got to be kidding me." Penelope huffed. Gossip girl posted an picture of V and Nate kissing.
