Blair and I had just finished our class together and made our way through the halls. B and S saw each other and hugged.
"B, I missed you so much." Serena beamed stepping away from her
"Not as much as I missed you." She replied
"So Rosie told me Jack found Chuck." Serena started as we walked together
"Yeah, what was left of him. I'm surprised they made it through customs. Chucks odour could have given a high to half of manhattan." Blair scrunched up her nose in disgust.
"More like all of manhattan, it was terrible. Hopefully once he's sobered up and washed we might see some of my old brother." I shake my head
"Girls I have to tell you something. I did something so stupid." Blair took my hand and gave it a small squeeze
"What is it?" we wondered
"I told Chuck I loved him." She admitted to us my jaw dropped.
"No way, but that's great." i chimed finally they could both get their head out of their arse and actually be a couple, because this whole thing the have now and before was just nauseating
"Great? No. It's awful. Not only did he not say it back, but he disappeared for a month. At least you had the decency to tell people,you ran away. If I could just go back and strangle myself as the words come out" she huffed and I could tell that she was really hurt by what had gone on.
"I'm sure Chuck will say it back. I'm sure he was thinking about you the whole time he was gone." Serena assured I slapped my hand against my forehead
"Not unless I was a Tahi hooker named Bo. and there was something else." she didn't get to tell us. I felt a pair of arms wrap around my waist.
"Hey." we kissed
"As if you didn't do enough of that for a month. I'm gonna go vomit now. Let's go Serena." She dragged the blonde away
"Happy New Year." Dan called to them as they left.
"She just needs time. With my brother back the work she did on during a month is being dragged back up." I stated
"Um hum. Listen, your last class today, is it incredibly, unmissable fascinating?" he questioned me.
"Why do you have something in mind?"

We were back at his loft making out, when i heard keys drop. I pulled away. Rufus was standing in his loft as we pulled away.
"Oh hey Dad. Rosie was just. You know Rose was....she was" Dan stammered, it was actually funny.
"Busted" I giggle but cover my mouth "Hi Mr Humphrey. Happy New Year"
"Hello Rose." he greeted me "I think Rose should be getting home." he told us and my smile slipped away
"What?" Dan questioned
"I don't like the two of you being here alone when i'm not." Dan scoffed. Something was wrong, something had changed and now he was acting weird.
"Are you kidding?"
"Dan, this is my home. I'd appreciate if you'd respect that." Rufus replied calmly.
"It's fine. I need to go check on my brother anyway, make sure uncle Jack hasn't messed things up. See you later Mr Humphrey."
"Bye Rose." I grabbed m things and left. I went to call my Uncle but he wasn't picking up.
"Hey Jack, I'm heading to the apartment, call me back. I'm on my way over." When I got there, it was empty. Chuck wasn't in his bed and Jack was MIA. The elevator doors opened and in walked Chuck.
"You're up." my brother gave me a high smile.
"Sister, you look as beautiful as ever." he went to open a case. I saw what was in it andI snatched it off him. "So serious."
"Wonderful your high and you want to smoke in front of me. Park your butt on that stool." he did as I asked and I went into the kitchen and started making some food.
"Since when do you cook? Sister?"
"Since my boyfriend taught me. So what stupid thing have you done this time, besides abandoned your grieving sister during our fathers funeral." I sassed him
"Still sore?" i lean over
"You know in those films where they have a dart gun that causes incredible pain?" he nodded "If I had one of them now I would shoot you. Luckily for you I've managed to deal with my grief, now I can help you despite you being a grade A dickhead." I made him a sandwich.
"Eat that." he did so and I tried to think of what to do. Jack came back.
"So much for keeping a eye on him?" I pointed the life at him he held his hands up.
"You do realise that I'm trying to look after a business as well. Besides he was fine, his suspension isn't that long." he spoke
"Suspension?!" I screeched
"Whoa, Rose, put down the knife." I did and took a deep breathe. I needed to deal with this calmly because this was not one of those times where being loud and a bitch was not going to help.
"Suspension for what? Dare I ask?" i folded my arms and glared at the two.
"Just smoking Hash on school property. But given the fact what the both of you have been through, he's got of quiet easy." Jack brushed it off.
"Okay this is what I'm going to do. I'm going to let you bottom out. Then when you've reached even beyond the bottom of the barrel as your sister and the only sane one here. I will drag your ass back up into the future boyfriend of my best friend." I finished tidying up.
"Enjoy your trip." i comment walking away.
