"Yuta."

"What's up?"

"Your secret is in danger. They heard everything."

"What?"

"Don't worry, I have a plan."

"Are you sure you'll be fine all alone? Today is the last day of our break yet you're all alone." Daeun worried. "Just say the word and I'll drop Doyoung for you."

"Either way, I have to come with to drive her there." Doyoung spoke in the background. "Might as well call Sicheng over. I heard he wants to assemble some Lego or something."

"I'll be fine. Go enjoy your date with  Doyoung." Iseul assured for what seemed like the umpteenth time this day. She ended the call and continued to watch whatever she had on her TV.

It had been a couple of days since they returned from their trip and about a day since she recovered. Unlike the others who were enjoying the last day off with family or friends, she didn't have anyone else to spend it with. Her mother was too caught up in work and her new family that she didn't want to add on to the baggage.

To her surprise, the doorbell buzzed. She got up from the comfort of her couch and trudged over to check who it was through the peephole.

"Yuta?" She gasped, quickly opening the door for him. "What are you doing here?"

"Daeun texted me that you'd be alone so I came." Yuta answered. He adjusted the paper bag in his hand, keeping the contents out of sight. "I know it's rude, but I just thought you would be lonely."

"What do you have there?" Iseul asked as she let him in.

"You once mentioned how you wanted to try doing your nails if you had the time to so I borrowed my younger sister's things." Yuta explained. He unpacked everything from the bag and Iseul's eyes immediately lit up.

She scurried over next to him as he finished setting everything up. There were multiple colors that appealed to her that she didn't know where to begin.

"Can you do my nails too?"

"Really? You'll trust me with your nails?" Iseul  squealed in delight.

"I trust you with anything." Yuta smiled. He didn't know if she noticed his endearing stare, but he couldn't help it with how adorable she looked excited. He reminded her of a kid in a candy shop buying their favorite treat with their allowance.

"Then can I trust you to do my left hand? I can do my right hand perfectly, but when it comes to my left I mess up a lot." She requested.

"I'm not as good, as my sister, but I am Johnny approved." Yuta shrugged. "Which will you do first? Mine or yours?"

"Let's do yours first." She pulled him down to sit on the floor so she could use her coffee table to stabilize his hand. She prepped his nail carefully, afraid she might injure him.

"You're good at this." Yuta praised, repeating it multiple times as she worked.

"I've always been interested in nail art, but I never really got too invested in it. Just enough to be able to do it myself." Iseul spoke softly with all her senses focused on not injuring Yuta's fingers. She let out a satisfied hum as she finished up applying base coats. "What color would you like?"

Yuta thought carefully, grabbing a variety of colors from the set. "Do you know how to do a checkerboard pattern?"

"I think I can manage. Which finger?" Iseul nodded.

"How about both my index fingers get the checkerboard pattern, the glittery gold for my pinkies, a black base with a neon green smiley face for my middle finger, and plain black for my thumbs." He instructed.

"How about your ring fingers?" She followed up.

"Let me do the ring finger on my left hand. As for the right, maybe neon green base and a jellyfish?" Yuta suggested.

"Alright. Don't laugh at me if the jelly fish looks like a running shower head." She jokingly warned.

Iseul hummed as she let the clear coat set under the lamp. She finished Yuta's nails a while ago and was quick to do hers. She liked to keep hers minimal and took Yuta's recommendation of copper rose instead of maroon.

"You can start on my left hand." Iseul informed as she moved closer to him. She let him take her hand, relaxing it as he began to coat her nails with the polish. After finishing one he suddenly moved back and removed his hoodie, leaving him in a tank top.

"I've never been this nervous." He laughed, continuing his task.  "I'm sorry, I got some on your skin."

"It's alright." She assured, softly patting his head. "You're doing a great job though."

"You look like you're about to grow a second head."

"Don't I have two heads in the first place?"

"Yuta!"

Yuta laughed at how flustered she was. He pinched her cheek as he told her to calm down so he could continue doing her nails. He took a little longer at her ring finger, but she didn't mind. She just enjoyed his presence in general.

"Finished." He sighed, letting her nails set under the lamp. She observed his work moments later and smiled. She loved the semicolon detail he made on her ring finger.

"You did a really good job! Maybe I'll have you as my personal nail tech." She continuously praised. "Wait, I need to show off your work."

"It's nothing special."

"It's special because it's you." She spoke without thinking, realizing moments later what she said. She put her phone down and looked out the window. "I never thought a building wall could look so pretty."

"Thank you." He smiled.

"Why is the sky so dark? The rain is getting heavier." Iseul fretted. Yuta stood up and quickly closed the curtains of every window she could see. He turned the lights on and grabbed a blanket from the chair before joining her once again on the couch.

"Do you want to watch a movie?" Yuta asked as he cleared up the coffee table. "Or anything you want to do. I'm down for it."

"Are you sure? I'm taking up a lot of your time." She asked. "It's like 2PM already."

"Any time spent with you will never be a waste." Yuta assured. He finished cleaning up and wrapped the blanket snugly around her. He fluffed the pillow behind her and smiled. "I didn't bring an umbrella, so I'll be here for you."

I'm not going anywhere if you need me.

Iseul shared the blanket with Yuta, placing her head on his shoulder. The boy smiled and adjusted so she could be more comfortable. "Then can we watch an anime? I just finished watching Death Parade and I need some comedy after that emotional ride."

"Alright. Let's look for something good to watch."
