"Focus on your recovery! We'll make it to the finals while waiting for you!"

The words were supposed to be of comfort to him, but everything just seemed to rub insult to his wounds. He wasn't angry at them and he knew they didn't mean harm, but he couldn't help but feel bitter.

A busy week passed with Yuta holing himself up in his room. He needed time alone to compose himself and come to terms with the situation. Iseul did drop by everyday after taking care of the team and her academics, but he would be asleep at that point.

She always made sure to send him texts and leave behind sticky notes, but most of the notes weren't legible since she used her right hand to write. He found it cute and it was fun to decipher them anyway.

"Did she have dinner with the team?" Yuta wondered as he glanced at the digital clock. It was just half past eight and she still didn't text him. He'd rather have her go straight home instead of visiting him at at a late hour.

Iseul.

What could be Jungwoo's motive for planning that physical attack on her? If he planned that, then Yuta was sure it isn't for the reason of hurting Iseul. Jungwoo can do anything to hurt her, but he isn't shallow enough to physically hurt her.

He reviewed the videos Sicheng took along with videos of the incident. The pieces were slowly falling in, but there were still too many missing to see the picture. Jungwoo planned things perfectly and made sure it would break Iseul.

What if injuring her wasn't the objective? What if Jungwoo was still setting the stage for the objective of the attack, and Yuta was a part of it? Did he play right into something he shouldn't have?

A light bulb seemed to light up over his head as the realization hit him. A string of curses fall from his lips as the frustration bubbled in him. If he was correct, then there was no way out of this trap.

Jungwoo made the attack in public to use it against Iseul. Jungwoo had someone else do it and made sure he was far from the scene to avoid speculations if there would be any. He bribed the other person with something that could ruin them to ensure his silence.

A cooked game with their victory against Neozone.

If Iseul reacted normally and pushed the ladder back, she could have caused a bigger accident and be looked down for being selfish. Jungwoo's popularity and influence were his strongest weapons.

If she acted selfless, then it would result in him trying to help her. Yuta wasn't sure what it was for, but he had a bad feeling about it. Is Jungwoo trying to separate them to make it easier? Did he do it to frame Iseul? For what?

What did he want to frame her for? Iseul isn't that interested in the opinion of those who she isn't close to. Knowing Jungwoo, he would plan it to affect Daeun, Doyoung, Sicheng, or Yuta.

A knock at the door disrupted his thoughts. His sister must have dropped by to remind him to eat. "Go away. I'm not going to eat."

The door cracked open and a head poked in. Iseul tried to keep an angry face on, but failed to as she couldn't help but smile. She entered his room and placed her bag on his desk chair. She began tidying the clutter in his room.

"I'll pretend I didn't hear that. Let's eat."

"I'm not hungry."  Yuta declined. He would turn his back to her to tease her, but he needed to keep his foot elevated. Instead, he pretended to scroll through his phone. "I'm not going to eat."

"You didn't eat anything today." Iseul scolded as she snatched his phone away. She hid it in the drawer before standing at his side. "Do I need to drag you out of bed?"
